Elevator is 33 degrees for 15-20 feet!!! Steep enough for avalanches. Most of Jackson hole is 30 degrees plus.

Dress warm get toe warmers wear a facemask...add a polo shirt layer...heard conditions in Vermont are great now and no thaws between now and then. Also wax skis when it's that cold snow is squeaky and slow. Have fun

Wow are they short enough?? Your nails I mean? Anyway the first "real" day of skiing in a new pair of boots can suck. My second day in JH with a tram to rendevous bowl to cheyanne bowl start was pretty brutal in my boots in variable snow.

You'll be fine...Steamboat springs is under 7,000 feet..you'll adjust, it's Winter Park which is much higher at 9100 feet...your drive yesterday you were super high...don't drink too much high test beer. Enjoy the powder!!! Oh and high elevation flatulence is real..plus for some reason I get huge boogers when I'm out west..I had one so deep when I pulled it out it tickled my brain. Oh and eat a big breakfast and don't be stubborn..if you are feeling beat before closing quit for the day...
