  9. February 12th, 2019 Day 7 of 7 Hey All, I’m finished with another fun ski day at Jackson hole mountain resort. I believe it’s my 102nd ski day here since 2002. We arrived at the Gondola around 745AM and chatted with Bruce from Bethlehem while waiting for first Gondola. Bruce went to the University if Vermont 20 years for me and spent many years in corporate America before settling in Victor Idaho and Atomic Jeff plays golf with his brother. First civilian gondola with two girls one from Colorado and one from Reading PA. High tailed it to Thunder via Amphitheater which had a little bit of new snow on top of groomed. Then down Grand which also had some new snow on top of groomed surface. Up Sublette and the wind chill was 30 below zero at the top..brrrr..skied past the bottom of the kings and queens of Corbett’s in 10 sleep bowl and over to the Cirque and was rewarded with a creamy 6-8” of untracked snow..was really nice. Back to thunder lift and there was a pretty long line then found more fresh in Grand woods..up Sublette and went a little farther left into the cirque and was able to find some super nice untracked snow. I crossed some tracks but my turns were in the Perder and I was rewarded with snow billowing up above my waist. Back down to Thunder lift and there was more than a full corral of people so went on the Marmot lift instead which had no line. We did the Nastar Glenn woods and were rewarded with several hundred vertical feet of untracked barely 20 yards away from a main run..so good had to repeat them again after another ride up Marmot. My legs were screaming after 7 days in a row..ended up taking some woods and Sundance to the base and just had a nice lunch at the Handlebar inside the four seasons. All in all was a really fun trip everyday had really nice snow and good visibility on the majority of days..I only took two falls..one my first run of the trip and one in the middle of the busiest street in town..tomorrow is our travel day which means of course it’s supposed to snow a lot here..we might try to get out on an early morning flight to Denver instead of waiting until early afternoon for our direct flight to Newark..that way at least our plane will be waiting here. I did my best to take some pictures today and here they are. Thanks everybody for following along in this thread. I’ll post the Good, the Bad and the Ugly in the coming days.
  10. I’m laughing about the coat. The squeaky wheel gets the grease when the grease gets on the coat. A shame Blue bought Toast a ladies jacket but it fits him well.
  11. +++++VIBES+++++ to Root!!!!!
  12. Well you like the woods so can always get freshies in the glades.
  13. But you don’t care about getting first tracks so all good.
  14. You’re such a Spaz...how early did you have to be in line to be 50th
  15. Wow just wow..and at aspen it doesn’t matter not a zillion powder hounds like JH.
  16. Hey it’s a preventative measure. I don’t want to cream myself in the perder. That could be a sticky situation
  17. I’m loving Roots real time updates.
  18. Haha there’s already others in line lol if I was with my dad like you I’d be in the condo making pancakes and watching him put on his socks slow and deliberately.
  19. Salty you get first gondola here you have first tracks on first run down to thunder lift and first on thunder and first tracks on next run. It’s about being savvy and being ahead of the pack. Shit what’s the difference standing here for an hour or being in hotel room an extra hour. I already jerked off anyway so not much I can’t do here in line that I can’t do in the hotel room. People will go into work an hour early but won’t get to the mountain an hour early SMHerman.
  20. Up to 339” on the season.
  21. First in line again. Bluebird.
  22. The snake river and the ski resort. About time to boot up and then wait in line an hour and fifteen for first gondola.
  23. Last day drive to the hill.
