Very cool contest btw, Nice way to showcase some talent since bears insurance or whatver is sketchy about comps. wish I would have gotten a gopro a few days earlier so I could have thrown something together. But some ofthe edits are really good and the prizes are sick. Hopefully another contest like this in the future. Props to bc ironworks for putting it together

^Completely agree, ive brought this up before also, busiest week of the year and no one rakes the freshly blown snow off the last one in tubing? What a joke. I haven't seen park crew touch those jumps and I have been there every day for the past 2 weeks, are they not allowed of can you not see them from the yurt? Otherwise, thanks for the new set up it was a lot of fun

hoping for a park build soon? push the tubing jumps bigger, add the cannon rail, get the palmer in asap are a few necessities, maybe a hip, polejam, stall somewhere. Arbor rail, candy cane should stay in the parks somewhere. Also, low boxes/rails with no lips can be fun(boulder does this alot), maybe the mailbox or the doublewide. Just throwing out some ideas/ Parks arent necessarily bad right now, and park crew has been doing a good job keeping them in good shape, they just feel empty and getting sorta boring ..

im thinking they need to conserve water, its pretty much a problem every year for bear. they only have ponds to draw from where as most mountains have a river or large lake to get their water from. if they pounded the entire mountain every night im pretty sure they would run out fairly quickly. I dont know this for sure but im thinking thats what is holding them back

flights booked last week Philly to SLC january 9-14. LCC is having a bomb snow year. im stoked, its random, seems to fit this thread, figured id share

haha your just making a fool out of yourself bro, ill vouch for him hes way legit and knows exactly what hes talking about. Ill 2nd the bullshit four inch "urban" setups with a gap onto them too, let the rail overhang the lip and make it worth jumping up onto, bear is the only mountain i have ever seen set stuff up that way. oh and i understand its early season and blah blah but 4 hits on a top to bottom run through blackbear or even cascade if your wanna hit the tubing jumps?..they definetly have enough snow to throw two or 3 more rails down. but hey im not gonna complain too much the resort has been open for a week. my only suggestions at this point are change the way some of the rails are set up (mainly the arbor down flat and the rail next to the candycane) and throw a few more rails down to keep everyone happy for the time being. Otherwise so far so good, looking forward to seeing what can be done with some more snow.

no alley or north for this weekend? the tow rope park you can only ride for so long and the beginner park is hardly a park.. hopefully a few decent sized rails in the tow rope then. but hey it looks like you have a ton of snow and im sure you guys have a plan. thanks for the updates

Ill be there for opening, like johnny style said, seven springs is bomb. Everyone is so chill and they have the most committed park staff i have ever seen, they strive for that number 1 park ranking in the east that they just got from transworld. The mountain rides alot bigger i feel than most eastern pa resorts and the price of an unlimed college pass for 299 is legit. did i mention they got 220+ inches of snow last year? it was a bit ridiculous for a PA mountain. they still do have mogul competitions, btw

everytime i've been there for college days its just a quick look at your student ID, season passes are probably different

if you still have your college ID you cant beat college days at boulder

if your looking for something you can ride all mountain stay away from the www, its a noodle and wont do you much good freeriding and jumps. get the parkstar they're money for everything, perfect flex for rails and pop for jumps

Killington Ski Resort, Vermont,1720 they advertise a 3050' drop on their website, and we thought bear creek was off with their measurements..
