Switchback is a great trail, wish it was higher on the snowmaking list, it looked snowless and sad today.

I thought it was going to be open when I first pulled into the parking lot.

I am looking forward to T.R.s and pictures.

Skied from open until 11 am. It was a little windy. Snow was being blown on Razors, Central park, Terrain Run, and various random spots. The open trails mostly had been resurfaced so every thing was very good. Paradise, Lazy, Main Street, Come Around, Midway, and Burma were nice. Falls, Tut's, and Chute were a little hard but decent, Home stretch got slightly sugary but not bad. Skied directly onto the six almost every lap, small crowd. Razors should be open this weekend.

When you are coming down the road from the summit towards Little Gap there is what looks like an old fairgrounds down in the valley, with bleachers.

Is the old fair grounds in that big parcel?

Couldn't justify spending the money since my wife doesn't ski.

It was so close to Paradise it felt as though you could easily walk over to it.

Been looking there too. There are a lot of places for sale in carbon county. A few years ago I almost bought a mobile home in the park you can see from the top of Blue Mt.

That is a bummer about the air quality in Utah. I have been trying to find a reasonably priced place to retire close to great skiing. I have a 1 1/2 hour drive to blue now so 45 minutes and under would be wonderful, the SLC (Ogden) area seemed perfect.

I was looking at ogden, the prices were reasonable, and the reviews indicated it was small townish. Some reviews made it seem as though the reasonable prices attracted a bit of a bad element, but some reviewers seemed to love it there.

No, no plans for out west, I am going to Vermont in the next couple of weeks. I have been looking at real estate in the Salt Lake City area as a possible place to go when I retire.

I was planing to ski on thursday and saturday, but seeing all of the snow making taking place I may ski on tuesday too.

I was thinking Thursday and Saturday, may add Tuesday.
