I have enjoyed a couple of snow days this year, so much fun skiing, not so cool driving. Hope Wednesday is another one, the forecast indicates late morning before it really gets snowing.

At Blue 8 to 11 today, heavy cloud cover on the top half of the hill, cleared out from west to east sometime after 9. The chairs on the six had a decent coating of ice covering them. Mostly boiler plate to start, with random small glare ice patches, except main street which was good all day. Conditions improved as the day wore on. Me, Hiyata, and one other skier were the only people waiting at the gate for open. Few people on the hill until about 9:30, then the floodgates opened.

I will be up for opening monday and wednesday. Forcasters are predicting snow sunday night into monday and tuesday night into wednesday up there.

Cool I will look for you. Are you usually there at opening bell?

As I was waiting for the opening bell yesterday I was wondering if you were there, until I realized I have no idea what you look like.

Ah, the start of a beautiful bluebird day at True Blue.

The term a mixed bag is an understatement.

My ride up this morning from bucks co. was good, the ride home was quite bad, not so much the roads but drivers who should have stayed home. Sorry to heard about your fall Root, get well. Even though the snow turned to sleet the trails were all very good, challenge was much improved, the bumps on barneys and NM were great, as far as snow quality widow maker was at the top. New page.

Snowing pretty hard at the mountain. Very fine snow coming down, the type that lasts awhile. Hope it doesn't change over to sleet/freezing rain/rain too quickly.

Saturday was firm but pretty good, (I thought it was going to be bad because of the warmth on Friday then quick overnight freeze). As indiggio said the bumps were good. I was back up this morning and everything was better than Saturday, 19 degrees when I arrived with no wind. Crowd was much smaller than yesterday, razors and NMDW were closed for racing. The blue baumer glade was really slick, I think you could run a luge through there, it is like skiing in a large rain gutter. Be back Tuesday a.m. depending on the forecasted ice storm.

Very nice day today, the snow was soft and carved like a dream. Moguls on nightmare were excellent and although the snow on Barney's was good each of the moguls was a different size and shape. The skier cross course on Dreamweaver is fun. Root the temp gauge in my car read the same as yours. .
