Shadows Posted March 16, 2009 Report Share Posted March 16, 2009 (edited) the season up here is soon coming to an end. most of vail resorts are strategically closing on 4/19 (wtf). at least we still have gaper day and abasin. i will break 100 it looks like which is a nice goal. it wouldve been nice if my plan for this season went well... "learn grabs and jump all season long" didnt happen. got about 4 days of jumping in. shit happens - im still here. the pow was nice this season as well. this is just a collection of porn throughout the season. keystone changes up features a lot so some of the pics here are different then the current setup. features change but layouts stay pretty much the same all year. ill try and save the best for last. top of one of the parks. check the skier/boarder ratio. really sick wall. just wish the landing went out a little further so you could actually hit it like a street wall. the wall on the left is around 20 feet. gets baked in the sun all do to so its wicked fun. pretty good flow section sexy down rail. another sick combo of walls. lots of options on the one right in front of you. the main reason(s) i posted all this............ (click to make them BIG) Big line landing of the 3rd to give you a perspective. MSP photo/video shoot. this was not a public setup. check it out in the new movie. the public setup is the same just without the rails and a reshaped lip obviously. its a line, hit this... and go directly into this... epic sunset. enjoy. looking at this stuff gets me juiced. some may say im on A51's dick but who cares, shit is dope. Justin Posted March 17, 2009 Report Share Posted March 17, 2009 Colorado seems to have way more skiers, go to the tahoe area and you'll see the opposite. So far my season out here has been not too shabby. I caught a couple of snags while I was out here (no car for all of february, psycho ex girlfriend, viral infection from mold in my room, family bs causing me to go home for a week, boots crapping out on me) so that unfortunately cut me short by a few days. Right now I'm ahead a tiny bit from last season day wise but I've definitely progressed a ton and hope to learn some new stuff before the season ends. Still got a solid month of riding though, plenty of skiing to do, then of course we got abay through may. Plus I'm taking a trip out to Cali the last week of April and gonna hit mammoth on the way so my season is nowhere near being over....
