toast21602 Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 I've never been to Blue...gone to CB literally hundreds of times. Worth it to skip CB for the day and hit Blue tomorrow? Thanks! give it a shot. as of tonight the park wasnt at its best because of the rain but on a good day like tomorrow it could be crazy again. if you like to ski park then i would suggest Blue. if you want longer runs and more vert then i would suggest blue. if you want more of a variety of trails and whatnot... go to CB.... buit you ahve been there before so why not give Blue a shot? nothing wrong with change. and i'll be there pretty much all day tomorrow because i dont have class on thursdays...
LineSki Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 for sure man deff hit up blue. im still trying to make my trip up.
poconoceancity Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 Give Blue a try, I'm sure you will like it.
Ski Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 Is there anything else you need help deciding?
Papasteeze Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 I decided on CB last season - I feel a Blue mutiny coming on.. we are headed for Blue
AtomicSkier Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 You might as well head to Blue, Camelback might close tomorrow, it's going to be above freezing

zaldon Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 only problem wiht blue is lift service...
skidude Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 only problem wiht blue is lift service... One of the only...But on a friday one might think its not that bad. CB might close there quads, but atleast they don't derail
toast21602 Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 blue's lifts are fine. they dont close them down because of wind like other places do. the only problem with them are the people that ride them and dont know what the hell they are doing. tonight wasnt bad until the ski blubs came and pretty much turned my night into hell. so i left. otherwise... today was a great 6 hour day of skiing.

Idk, I heard that blues quad was down because it derailed, not because it broke a part...But thats just what I heard
toast21602 Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 Idk, I heard that blues quad was down because it derailed, not because it broke a part...But thats just what I heard it broke down because the transmission on it blew, not because it derailed. its fine now that they repaired it and got a new transmission.

skimom Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 I'll be holding on for dear live when I get there this weekend Just hike for your runs, 'dude.
toast21602 Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 Just hike for your runs, 'dude. you could hike the mountain, take the challege lift, suck it up, or ski camelback.. but they might clsoe again if its too cold out.
skifreak Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 (edited) Maybe if we tell the tourists the quad derails, they will go away.... Edited January 19, 2006 by skifreak
toast21602 Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 Maybe if we tell the tourists the quad derails, they will go away.... i like that idea. if i get up there and i see a huge line for the challenge chair and nothing for the quad i'll know you did your job. haha.
setagehtta Posted January 20, 2006 Author Report Posted January 20, 2006 Alright so I stayed on the highway and got off at exit 299...decided on CB at the last minute. Turned out to be a great day with no liftlines at all (I went alone and never shared a seat on either quads) and okay conditions considering the recent weather.
