swdorsey Posted March 29, 2006 Report Share Posted March 29, 2006 hits will range from 30 to possibly 70+ feet all gong to the same landing... rite now teh jump exceeds 100 feet so snow isnt an issue, the landing is being cut down rite now and the knuckle is going to be cut down as well. rite now the jump is almost higher than teh quad but not to worry, lips will be different sizes for different skill levels and were using hundereds of pounds of salt so speed will be good, i hope everyone comes, this is sure to be one of teh best comps bear has ever put on Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Bear Creek PR Posted March 29, 2006 Report Share Posted March 29, 2006 Here are a few more details about the event on Saturday. Registration takes place from 10-11:30am at Guest Services. The Big Air comp starts at noon. The cost to compete is $5 (cash only) and helmets are required. There will be 5 divisions: Skier Intermediate & Expert, Snowboard Intermediate & Expert and Women's. We may limit the number of participants in each division. Â The event will be taking place on Kodiak. No lifts will be running and the mountain will not be open for skiing/riding.
