Starry*Eyed*Suprise
From Blue: Special Events: The current forecast indicates that winter is returning! We plan on making snow again starting this Saturday and continuing for the next 10 to 12 days. We plan to open either December 17th or 18th. Anyone else stoked about this? RickyMc
Im not sure if your plan will work because usually when a mountain opens there wont be night sking until more trails are open. sucks for you

AtomicSkier
I don't think they did last year dood... and CB is usually the first weekend really? I remember skiing opening day in 01 when they opened soo late, and I was night skiing. hmm, this obfuscates me now...
ThinkSnow
That may have happened, they were probably trying to make every possible dollar that year cuz of such a late start (which means it may be similar this year). Last year tho, I'm almost positive it was at least a few days with blue.
skifreak
Yeah atomic, I firsted posted this somewhere else. I always remeber blue having night skiing on day 1 but maybe I'm wrong? Cb on the other hand waits for a few days.

kmar2006
as far back as i can remember without power problems we always had night skiing first night.. we usually close at end of season with no night skiing the last day.. im kinda excited but ive been up at blue for over 3 weeks working already so its nothing new.. just making more snow and will be on skis and snowmobiles instead of fourwheelers "THERES NO BUSINESS LIKE SNOWBUSINESS"

Justo8484
their plans are for the 17th with 6 trails, according to dennis sr. easy out, vista, school hill, explorer hill, mainstreet and midway. no park features opening day, dennis claims they wont have enough snow to set up a rail, which is a load of crap. but they did get a c box, rainbow box, and other boxes and rails, or so he told me. if any of that info is not true, take it up with dennis at the mtn, thats what he told me when i was up there today.
