I never knew a 747 landing belonged in the racing forum
-
Don't think too many people will buy them til they know how long CB is going to be open.
-
Some of there guys do both
-
I would love to go, but I'll be at Elk that friday/sat/sunday. Have fun guys!

Well got a message back from CB, looks like they will not let people under 18 skim, even with a realease. I wonder how many people that can't swim are going to go face down in the water....haha I hope ski patrol is up on there lifeguarding/CPR
-
Well this is interesting...People might be more interested in it if they said when they were closing... (or atleast a rough idea)..
-
Haha CB got a little confused I think...Maybe they want people to learn how to bump ski.

The top section of the stevenson (quad that was shut down) is all exposed above the trees. As a general rule, its shut down with 40+mph gusts, regardless of how many people are there. Blue's quad is bette for this, because it usually isn't very far off the ground. Turning off a quad for a few hours in wind beats it derailing, and being down for however long it takes for an investigation (probably longer than a week) Service at CB is great for me, mostly cause I know a bunch of people who work there, and they uhh don't hate me

I think by lost a trail, they mean lost it like hump a few years ago (never opened)...Right now they know where all there trails are, and they have snow, therefore none of them are lost (following CB's logic)

Actully, the last 2 years they said something like "all odd bibs will race the green course first run, then the yellow course second"...So I looked at the green course first...Well guess who raced the yellow course first... STuff like that won't happen in USSA races. Also 'Mum and I used the nationals as an 'excuse' to go out west (hence the week we took of free skiing before the race) Just my opinion...

Your slightly older brother who skis on Volkls and Elans is going to visit you a few times...Deal with it Congrats

Would you post with just one username....Your getting yourself confused
-

Hey doug, this reminds me...Didn't you say something about not digging up extremly old threads
-
I have went for 3 years, and it has always been a pretty poorly run race. Great pacesetters, great mountains, just IMO the races have always had much room for improvement on the administration end.
-
Its being looked into. Its also ski season. Give us a few days As always, PASR is happy to listen to ideas to make this site better
-
Words of advise... Don't go for the racing. Go for fun
-
Take a day at CB, even if you don't like it as much, it will be a new (ish) place for you to try again.

They would need to move the lift back about 1000 feet I think...Which would be into the parking lot, even then it might still be too short. Not sure why there are no foot rests, but I never used them, so it doesn't bother me too much.

Well after they blew for 36 hours on Asp, it was pretty nice sunday and today
