  1. Yeah, i know, but he just said he liked the jibs on it... either way...
  2. It woudl be hard to be standing there unscrewing bindings to a board locked to a rack. It would deffinatly raise an eyebrow or 3. Plus it goes back to is it easier to steal a unlocked board that you can grab and be gone, or one where you have to break a lock with?
  3. not really
  4. Racing is deffinatly a good time, and when the mountains are only 800 feet, free skiing is only fun for so long. If you want to stay ammused, then you got to get into racing or freestyle
  5. Chance Snyder kicked @$$ and came in 1st, even after he had difficulties his first run (where he was 3rd). Not sure about everyone else
  6. I just shot over there today after practice and to talk with the starter (friend from this summer) and then took a run. Would have had the GS boards if I was going to try and beat Brad (next time...) Anyway I hear rumors that a certain punk on atomic skis is going to register with USSA next year
  7. Haha jeff it was already posted in the blue thread. W/e...next week ill probably be on my SL skis again, after that GS boards. Ridge is a smokin lil dude, what can I say?
  8. Skiing fast...Thats a funny term. I may ski fast relitive to a noob, but I ski uber slow compaired to D$. I guess most of the time I ski 'fast' in the patrolers eyes, but that doesn't mean that it is either fast or dangourus. I figure if your in a turn of some form (not a snowplow) then you are able to arc your skis, and finish your turn to avoid an obstical/person or stop. If you are straight lining a trail, in a snow plow (or even just straight lining it) then you probably should be yelled at for it...And thats what I tell the rangers/patrollers if they want to give me a hard time (which most of them don't anymore)

  10. How about a sign at the top of a trail that says "Fast skiing only" to go next to the "Slow skiing only"...just so people knew that other people would be flying down the trail (then they might stay off if there noobs)

    RT?

the word on the street is they didn't have too much snow. But that was just a rumor. Also they are probably blowing snow now, or will be tonight, making everything a lot better.
  12. Its on...again
  13. Why does everyone like big poke a ho? That trail is deffinatly not where its at
  14. Weather.com is stayings its 35 there now. Soo still a little too warm. Plus I know they don't like to blow snow in the faces of there guests there, unless they absolutely have to.
  15. Bell is nice, never been to Plattekill. I think ski999 has been to both. Bell just has slow lifts, but it is never busy, which is good
  16. A possitive experiance for people who are allowed in
  17. Woah, chill out there, were all friendly on this site, a little humor is always nice (IMO) Just trying to get you $251 for a pair of A-Frames, nothing wrong with that, is there?
  18. Doesn't work too well at 2pm on saturdays, but all the other times you can shoot down pharow, and swing up past the top of the raceway lift, and ski raceway Just gotta keep your eyes open to make sure you don't slam anyone going aorund the turn
  19. Thanks for adding in a club night last night!!! See you tonight!! Thanks again, you guys rock
  20. Haha, andrew say 250
  21. Pharow
  22. ... I think they were having some issues last night before they were done, so it might be on there end.
  23. Got a picture of them?
  24. And there were like 5 other people from CB, but I was just too lazy Catherine S. took a big spill her first run, but was able to pull it together and have a good second run.

    waxing skis

Rubber bands with little nicks in them are bad to use. I mostly use some wire (like the kind in the walls). It is thick enough to hold the breaks, but bends and will stay easily too. plus I had a bunch of extra wire sitting around.
