Yeah, thinking is for practice days, and I know I go faster when I don't think. But today was the first time I really tried and really worked on not thinking. Going to have to try to do that more often. Especailly after a I have recently had a few very good days in practice, so I know im able to ski well(er) If you say 26 days, then its 26 days

I completely tuned you out man, cause I wasn't about to start thinking about the course

Well, didn't go over too well for me. Friday was GS, and I just didn't go very fast. Uhh not really remembering too much else about it. Satruday was SL, and again I didn't do very well. However at the end of my second run, I did start to ski it better, and uhh not completely suck (but just for those few turns). First run the course (actully, guys/girls course) well the guys course was set with a lot of combinations...Mainly an undergate, going into a hairpin (tho not an undergate hairpin)...and an undergate 3 gates from the finish. R. Detrick who was either number one or 2 for points going in, DSQed first run, by hiking a gate he missed...Except he hiked a girls gate, not the one he missed (apparently) Today was another day of GS. My first run wasn't very good, maybe a little better than Fridays. I was told by a coach to "stop thinking, and stop caring, just ski"...so I tried as hard as I could not to think about anything in the race...Even in the starting gate, I was doing my best to think about other things...And then I started having a reallly reallly good run. The something went down, and I fell (tho it was an extremely weak fall) probably 3/4s the way threw the course. Still very happy with the run, because I have been waiting for a run that felt good, all year, and that did up to where I fell) Not sure how anyone else did on this board.... TJ, Missy?

Doug, how did you get the passes? Seems a little strange that they would go in a CBack car and take pictures, when they have a few uhh 'unmarked' cars
-
I saw that tonight when I was there...Cool idea. Jump looked a little small, even for a beginner jump...Maybe a little more of a lip so people don't need to go as fast to go in the air off of it.

I think over there majors times (xmas week, pres weekend) there were a lot of people around, it doesn't seem like there doing too poorly $$ wise (I'm assuming thats what you mean by got hurt)....I guess we willl have to see....

Can you even turn around the gates man But uhh seriously, can you

I don't think they have to push that much around...They made an awful lot just to melt it... I am still wondering where it is going to be...

Or turn the 1/2 pipe into a big frozen waterslide

From them and everyone else Its called a family illness, or something of the like. If they asked what happened, say its personal

I use a soft ski bag, and put clothes in it around my stuff...Works pretty well. You could go for the hardcase, which would protect it more, but still put clothes in there if your stuff is moving aorund. Not only will this help keep your gear safer, but it also gives you more room in your other bags (or allows you to take fewer bags). The other route would be shipping your skis out in a box to your hotel before you go...I would check with the hotel before you send them out tho

It has usually been the last week in March.... Its always been held out west that I know of. They need about 6 trails all closed for atleast 2 days, and all the mountains that have that kind of terain to give who would be sure to have snow then (Am. ski comp. resorts) do not run Nastar....(I think)
