Only 2 people to have there own threads...Metz and Bode
-
I bet I could have finished it 19 days!!
-
exhibit A1...Blue Mountain
-
Idk about that...Skierboi actully went at the courses and took a few tumbles unlike my whimpy @$$ that finished every SL race

He was 'experiencing the village' from the bar...And not waking up until 11 for a 12 start, doesn't have the time to inspect the course condtions, or take warm up runs. The way I see it, he is only ranked 1472 spots infront of me, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to comment on how he acts. Every year when I register with USSA the hundrid bucks goes partly to support the USST athletes, and if they don't care about what they are doing, then I don't want to support them. Luckly for the USST I like all the other peeps on it.
-
If I was on the USST I would be happy. I would be phsyced to be able to represent the US in an event that the whole world watched. And if I was representing the US I would uhh whats that three letter word I'm thinking about...uhh try. Yeah thats the word. Bash those on top? Ted, D$, Koz, Kildow, Rothrock, Schleper, Scholopy, Knight, Macartney...Whos bashing them? D$ had potental to medal in the DH, and didn't. No one is bashing him because he tried, he trained, and he didn't act like a dick. If he doesn't want to ski in the olympics or for the USST, then GET OFF THE TEAM AND LEAVE A SPOT FOR SOMEONE WHO DOES.

I deffinatly see where your coming from, but also you gotta remember the coaches have families too. And most of them are busy going to and from races at the end of the season and want to be able to go home and see there kids or wifes too. Anyway maybe you will try it again next year, maybe you won't...

Cb is hurting a little. Still everytrail is ski able (possibly trying to save 1/2 the mountain for the party next weekend, possibly pushed the snow off it last night to put more snow on other trails). I was told by someone whos going to remain nameless, but isn't a low level employee, and was told this by the head managment. "A week ago they were talking about staying open until early April on the east side. Now they are hopeing they can stay open until the 26th" Who knows whats going to happen. Unless there going to be open mid april, doesn't make much difference to me.

For nastar, its run 1-3. The website says 4 because who ever is incharge of that doesn't know what there doing. You are supposed to sign up in the west caff (main one) before 12, (there is a Nastar reg. sign up there) and if you don't do that, they let people sign up at the finish. Not sure what they say is the latest you can sign up, but if you are signing up at the bottom at 240 there is no way you can get your 2 runs in. In the past people have tried, and then go up and are mad if the course is closed. Try not to get too mad at the employees (whether it be the starter, or the coaches) for someone elses mistake. Bummer theres no more night skiing

Bode doesn't give a rats ass about doing well, at this point. When he cared (or acted like he cared) people didn't bash him. He did fall or DQ in a lot of his slaloms, but not many people complained because he was going at it. Now he just doesn't care, but will take the free ride hes getting to olympic partying.

I wish I could spin onto, or on a box

Mmmm gravy I wonder if the wax looks like gravy
-
He asked if he could scrape it, I said it wouldn't matter (cause the dirrrections say don't)
-
You can scrape it, it won't leave a trail tho. Probably would have been a better idea to get a more uhh normal wax next time
-
Good question! Its nice that you are letting any age do it, unlike Camelback whos being irritating on only letting OLD (haha over 18) people do it
-
Idea for ya Mark, Some mountains have a seperate fee for night training. I think Blue and Elk do. If you ran SL training a few nights a week for 100-150 bucks a sesaon I bet you would get a lot of people who want to train, but don't want to drive all the way up to the pocnons. (Such as myself You could set a good SL course down that trail. I would however recomend a lot of added lighting if you want to have night training.
-
uhhhh thats about all I can say...
-
I forgot it was the 4 or 5 events or w/e...Bumps would be rather painful on a board
-
Link to a website that sells it? The color doesn't matter, as its just food coloring they put in the wax to make it easier to tell what kind it is.
-
Was that what he wanted? Or was he just trying to have some fun?
-
It costs me all of $12 to ski a night at Bear when I go. I don't see them gouging the prices up.

Number of gates and vertical is in the USSA handbook for what is condered a legal course. Also it has what happens if its not legal (for vertail, number of gates, or time). Sib posted a big list of everything you need to get a trail certified as a race trail (like Cliffy is at CB) from USSA and FIS. Mainly you need snowmaking, a lift, a trail that can safely run a race, and a place to airlift someone out I think.

I'll probably be there 80% sure running Nastar if I go...Maybe I'll bring the GS sticks... Metz...Your coming, right?
-
Its on the home page, and I still missed the link. Good find Rob Props to CB for putting up a story about it on there site, and linking it to the home page!

USSA means you have to be registered with them (as does NYSSRA) So unless you have a USSA number, you can't do it. Also the entry date is probably over for that. If you need more info on USSA racing, shoot myself or Ski999 a message
