  1. I feel like Blue's social media people could take a lesson . . .
  2. I think it's going to be Saturday for me
  3. Tubing open til the 21st though, so there's that
  4. You’re not allowed to agree with the Alpine Zone poster. You weren’t there.
  5. Full disclosure, the guy that said that also was at Blue Saturday and said that their coverage was “very thin and mostly ice” and that you needed to pick your way around bare spots down the entire left side of Lazy Mile on rock skis. Just saying, I’m not sure he’s the best judge of quality/
  6. Sorry to blow you off in the lot, Mike. I had just got my first good look at the vagina on Pops elbow and knew I had to get him out of there for stitches. I’ll take you up on the brat another time!
  7. I would definitely go turnpike to 80. On the map it doesn't look much more out of the way than the 78 route is going to force you. It's 9 minutes slower than the 22 route (78 route not shown) on google maps, but chances are better you're going to be able to maintain highway speeds a lot more
  8. Would that be two ducks? Or both of you not caring about the same fuck? Either way, I guess its symmetrical.
  9. Likely to be at Camelback next Saturday unless Blue throws in a surprise bonus day, which seems like no chance of. Pops has tapped out for the season. Can't blame him.
  10. You need a better understanding of what you're buying.
  11. It's still on their Facebook in a post dated March 3
  12. Pops took a fall on the inside of the turn from Midway to Main. Went off the trail and hit his elbow on something metal. Skied it out, went up, watched pond skin for awhile. Went in and claimed his mug and had a beer. Ugly-skied down Burma to the valley. When he took his jacket off and I finally got a look at it, I knew stitches were in his future. Thought we were done here but they just came in and said they needed to xray his elbow. Trigger warning - pre and post stitches wound pictures in the next post.
  13. Stop up at the main drop off area and get out to get your comp ticket. Drive down and turn right, despite signs indicating you shouldn't, toward the hotel. Park in the big lot to the right by sunbowl. Walk onto the snow and ski down to the indoor waterpark lift.
  14. I don't blame them one bit for closing yesterday. I take exception to them trying to claim it was to "save the snow for the pond skim."
  15. How did you get your hands on a 20/21 pass?
  16. I'm torn between heading up, and saving the free ticket for next weekend, I suspect they'll be open. I will likely be solo if I go because:
  17. Jesus. Has it gotten this far? That was almost a negative word about Blue.
  18. There’s a ski instructor from Camelback posting on people’s comments on Blues “closed” status that they should come up to camelback and ski free on their passes! Lol
  19. That’s my top 3 in that order too. Elk leapt up with one visit this year. Blue will always be on top of MY top mountain list because it’s 20 minutes away. If all mountains were equidistant to me, Elk might beat it, even with the slow lifts, though it would need more visits to give it the top spot. I can have fun all around Camelback, I agree that Nile and cliffhanger are two of the best runs though. When either the raceway or glen lifts are running, I don’t mind lapping them on Pocono raceway, Rhoddodendron glen, or the two trails they took features off of this year. Shorter, but they get less traffic and the snow holds up
  20. They’re out Camelbacking Camelback this year. There’s still time for Camelback to shit all over their customer though, I have faith in them.
