I was nice and Toasty. I always wear a face mask and if it's too hot I'll take it off and put it in my pocket. Blue was blowing near some of the lifts which resulted in cold perder getting in my face. Fortunately the mask deterred all that cold perder. On one lift ride the dude next to me was covering his face from the perder with his hand because he forgot his face mask at home.

I got up at 9, had coffee, got the paper, fed the cat, read the funnies, pet the cat, checked True Blue's website, saw Main Street was opening at 10, then spent about an hour alternating between getting my RTMs and other equipment ready and drinking more coffee. Finally made it by 12:21.

Nah I left at 2:30. They opened the two Main Street lifts and the left lift shut down for around 5 minutes. I was ecstatic to be on the right lift which never stopped. It seems like everyone jumps on the left lift because it moves slightly faster, but I took the right lift which had zero issues.

Or at least if Midway and Main Street improve. It's 2018 and we still have to ski on marbles? Can't they come up with a way to groom snow better?

Invisible charc is doing all the complaining for me this year! Thanks. This opening day seemed identical to last year's, and it was decent. Only real complaint from me is that Midway and Main Street sucked big time with giant chunks of ice everywhere. The other trails were good. Solid B- day, I'll likely wait until they open at least the Lazy Mile to go again.

Wao from the webcam it looks like there are maybe 5 people there in total. Cant wait to hit some perder on my RTMs in a few hours!

I agree. My RTMs are rad. I try to keep the ski bases in pristine shape but last year I skied off piste at Montage against the advice of Steeze and unfortunately now there's a giant scratch down the middle.

Main and Midway open at 10 am. Maybe I should dig my RTMs out and make the long journey to Blue. How are the lines Steeze??

Maybe I'll go Friday at open just to lol at the lines. And then drink parking lot coffee that's frozen solid in my mug.

No problem. I had an old CB trail map in my room, but 5 minutes ago it was updated.

They also said on Facebook they'd let people know as soon as the updated map was up. Well, it's up and they didn't let anyone know. Good thing I'm letting everyone know for Camelback because I remembered to check their map today or we'd still be on the edge of our seats with anticipation.
