  1. I do want to get out west next year, but not enough times to justify a season pass.
  2. I'm thinking about going for around 10 tomorrow. I'll let you know once I arrive.
  3. Thanks Rummy. The snow was so good and the crowds were nonexistent, so the slow lifts didn't bother me as much. At least after each lift ride you get a top to bottom run, unlike Montage which usually requires 2 lift rides to get to the top.
  4. Ive been ahead of Root in vert since I started tracking it.
  5. They must because my app is never wrong.
  6. Good thing you read it early. I have a feeling it might be edited slightly.
  7. Yeah I got aero. It was insanely fast.
  8. What an epic day at Vermont. Woke up at 6:15 and headed up Interstate 81. Stopped at Burger King near Montage for two Croissanwich and OJ. Then finished the trip to Vermont and arrived just after 8 am. Earned first civilian chair, as there was no one even in line at 8:25 which was crazy. First run of the day was the blue on the left, I think it's called Delaware or something, which was totally rad. 2 inches of fresh fell over night, a nice bonus. Next run was on Susquehanna, my favorite trail there, and maybe my favorite trail ever. That was a blast, as there was also a light coating of fresh perder. Later I broke my personal speed record on Susquehanna and hit a legit 55.3 MPH, which was even faster than my previous record on Razor's Edge. And to the skeptics, I have proof on my phone and I matched the app to my car's speedometer and the app tracks speed perfectly, so this is probably a world record or something. Throughout the day, made my way across the mountain and think I skied every trail. I even did Upper Tunkhannock one time, and realized I don't think I'll ever like skiing moguls. I like going fast and skiing on smooth snow, and moguls just aren't my shtoyle. So I concede to Indiggo for this Sunday's mogul race (still not cleaning Steeze's car). Sorry Rummy and Momskeeztoo, the snow was so damn good today that I didn't get around to checking out your suggestions. I'll have to check out the Halfway House and the restaurant next year when I return to Vermont. The best run of the day was near the end, on a black called Wyalusing or something. Around 3 it started snow squalling heavily and dumped lots of fresh, and it was so sick having FirstTŗax that late in the day. There was hardly anyone there all day, so by late afternoon the fresh snow was completely untracked. Overall a fantastic day at Vermont and another successful day out. Made 40 runs and achieved almost 30k in vert to add to my stats.

No I'm actually not. I don't like burgers at most sports bars and restaurants. The buns are soggy and they put too much garbage on them. But for whatever reason the burgers I had this season here and Jackson Frost were really good. The server told me It was fresh too. You should come here some time, I think they have more vert than Blue or it's really close.

The Vermont locals all brought their lunches in the lodge. I meant to buy a Subway yesterday which would have been substantially cheaper but was too lazy to go out after work, so now I am paying the price. The upside is burgers at Ski lodges are very good.

Just did the West Slope trail and couldn't find the halfway house. Will keep searching.

Just finished my $15 lunch and still hungry. Will have to go to the car to withdraw some Captains Wafers and Fig Newtons from my stockpile.

Oh yeah. I nailed the bumps on Upper Tunk Hammock. Could probably even out ski bump indiggo.

It's just so rad out. Not a single bad trail. The blacks are so epic. More details to follow.

Made it to Vermont!! Snow looks epic. Ski patrol said there's 2 inches of fresh over the groomed snow so it's going to be the best day of the season by far.

That's what I like to hear. Last year I went there on a Friday also, and it wasn't that crowded. Also didn't encounter a single icy spot. Glad you had a great time.

Looks amazing! I'll be in Vermont in less than 12 hours from now. Can't wait!
  19. That's nothing. The worst was when I drank the limited time Unicorn Frappuccino. Fortunately no one knows and I normally drink very manly drinks.
  20. Oh my God, that's amazing! Thanks! Wow you really do have a lot of influence!!!
  21. I'm on strike until my God given right to tag threads is reinstated.
  22. Wow, on a Thursday at 5??? I really hope Vermont isn't crowded tomorrow.
  23. Nah. But I did order a Hazelnut Mocha Coconutmilk Macchiato from Starbucks the other day.
