Went for a few laps at The Camel.  Lots closed, thin in lower runouts stockpiled around the mad horizontal turns.  Hump, Birches, Asp and others were closed.

They finally built a couple nice jumps and put in some jibs.  They've got a lot of moving snow around the fill in the thin runouts but they should be able to do it.  They shouldnt have pulled the houses off the mountain as soon as they did.  They may or may not be able to push the 1 or 2 usual weekends past Blue.

Thanks for posting in the correct orientation. That looks rad if you like spring skiing and massive jumps.

    Probably a fuel containment barrier.

That's what I have also concluded after checking some video footage from the ground. Looks like they cleaned up quite a bit by yesterday and pulled the choo-choos out of the river. That must be a logistical nightmare.

Today was excellent.  Quinnesential spring skiing.  Rode from 9-12.  Only the quad was running, sometimes had 20 second lines.  Coming soon was un groomed and not too good.  Paradise was excellent.  Nightweaver was excellent and ROTD.  Razors was excellent.  Challenge was ok but I only did that once.  Sidewinder was closed.  Switchback was excellent but may get the knockout blow in the next few days.  Didn’t hit Main Street but shit stain looked big.

Then you sort of know what red means..oh and you’re going to Utah..have you heard about soaking?  My friend Dennis who lived in Utah and worked at deer valley was telling me about it..it doesn’t involve a Jacuzzi that would be a soak before a soak.

Yes I heard of soak. I think it's what the Mormons do when they spray each other with Super Soaker toy guns.

Those look like decent skis and boots. If she likes skiing she can take lessons with Mrs Snowbunski next season.

She doesn't need lessons. All there is to skiing is hands forward ass up that’s the way we like to tuck

I used to ski on the Elan S12 in a 176 the longest they made and those were nice skis but not as good as Kastles.

Today I concluded my Elons can fit in my toy aircraft which is rad. I don't even need to get Bigfoot skis like Toast. I bet @AtomicSkier couldn't fit Kastles in the toy plane, though.

Definitely a nice day with awesome visibility. Could see Philly and Manhattan.

Coverage looks pretty grate still. Thanks for the pics, I flew to Joysee today and didn't feel like flying all the way up to True Blue. Let me know when the picnic is, maybe I'll do a few low approaches at Beltzville.

Bigger balls than brain.  @saltyant how was camelback today?

Idk, I decided to partake in summer activities today. Maybe I'll ski at Blue one last time next weekend for the grand finale before my trip to Park City.

30” new in 24 hours at JH, no parking left, Stilson parking not an option as buses aren’t running, only teewinot running and grand targhee is closed today.  Wow what a mess.

Glad I'm not there, all that perder sounds awful

Didn’t feel like skiing in the rain…if it was the first or last day of the season would be a different story.  I know atomic Jeff and Dirtwolf are up there.

Skiing today is absolutely bananas. I see some hard core people out there like Dirt Wolf. WJW

It’s a wasted run for me most of the time.  I like lazy mile when it first opens for the season for the variety of it and a few times it does have the best snow but it’s way to slow for my liking unless the snow is lightening fast and also smooth…I definitely had a few times this season where it was a foot deep thick marbles and cookies..good thing I’m an agile mofo..just straight ran that shit with my hands on my knees BenM style..

    Agree 💯

I was finding it pretty good before, it was in fact one of my favorite trails. But smth is odd about it this season indeed.

Last weekend my friend and I ran Lazy once and it was so, so terrible. We were all like, W.T.F. dude? Hard, uneven, poorly groomed. If it's not that it's like skiing Sugarland. All other trails were grate. We should hire an investigative reporter to uncover the reasons for a sloppy Lazy Mile. I'll throw in my contribution... Three Captains Wafers and maybe half a Yoo-Hoo
