Wait what is going on here..

The quad at Blue Mountain was down for a while this morning. It appeared several patrons were stuck on it. At lunch today with my brah, I opened this thread and read "quad is broken again" by @Jn959. Not to be confused with @jnr231. So I assumed he was referring to the Blue Mountain quad. Later today I realized the was actually referring to the Elk Mountain quad and not Blue's. So two quads were broken today at Blue Mountain and at Elk, Vermont. Since I failed to ensure maximum thread integrity go ahead and give me a strike 2.

I saw some people were stuck on it for a while. I'm glad it wasn't me

Oh cwap, I thought this was the Blue Mountain Thread. I hope @GrilledSteezeSandwich doesn't give me a strike 2 or even a strike 1.9

Trust be it was the talk among everybody.

Same talk at Camelback today. Everyone was saying how much better Round Top must be since the perder was too hard and lifts too fast. I bet the perd was nice and soft at Round Top and the slow lifts make it age like fine wine

Salty are you skiing Blue tomorrow?

Yep, will be skiing with my brah from college. He hasn't skied in quite a while due to having young children. Should be rad, it'll be a long session and maybe we'll stop by the parking lot

  5. Basilisk is grate to do once. It's basically the same as Lower Sidewinder but Camelback calls it a "double black". To me every groomed run PA is a blue at most with the possible exception of White Lightning, which is an advanced blue. Hit 55 mph going straight down Cliffhanger which was rad - headwind hampered my speed. Overall grate day at the Back. Skied from 7:25 to 10, ate pancakes at the Toast house, and hiked 3.65 miles at Big Poke N Hoes State Park. The snow at Blue looked perfect from 20 miles away despite what @GrilledSteezeSandwich says

So Glad I hopped on board.... such a nice group of folks! First off I'm not trying to clutter up your wonderful chat site with unauthorized advertising. I apologize to all who I may have harmed or offended. Truthfully I wasn't aware that my post violated any standards required by your site. Spamming is a new term to me. In 2020 We unexpectedly lost my beloved Nancy and to honor and cherish her memory I created NTF and decided to share it with others. She loved sharing her home and also skied often at elk so I thought it would be a wonderful way to remember her. Yes it was "my wife's thing" but unfortunately she never got to see the Barbie Movie. There may be a couple "creepy dolls" in the house but you folks certainly won't have to worry about them. Also, I guess 5 minutes is a deal breaker.... sorry again but I didn't think I had to time it. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience and want to thank you all for your heartfelt and caring thoughts and comments. I would respectfully ask that all my post be removed and my profile as well. Lastly... with all due respect... you folks need to get a life.

@J.D. Wallis how has Elk been?

That's rad. The rope drop is where I first met you'se guys. Atomic Skier called me over. That was 6 years ago, wao. Now sometimes a couple times a season I get the privilege of riding the OG 6 pack with you legends if Atomic Skier doesn't boot me off 👢

I waxed my skis for this weekend so I hope you can keep up. I have a need for speed. Ice is grate, speed is fun. Dress like a Kosmonaut @Robert2

Yes yes @RajeevGuptaSucheeta says it’s a very nice hill station and no worries of altitude sickness or needing a snorkel or avalanche gear.  @BORGATA BOSS and his sister @beachiegirl2ski had fun skiing with me @ Blue the true back in 2006…that’s when I was new around here but still famous…holy run on sentence…

@saltyant the snow is gonna be fast this weekend..let’s do a run together..maybe two..I figure if we’re gonna be brother in laws one day, we should hangout a little more

I'll be there on Saturday solo and then my brah is supposed to come Sunday on my Buddy Pass. He enjoys sausage Sundays and the parking lot banter once a year.

Forgot to add Ikon gives immediate spring access to Sugarbush and Stratton.  Epic does no spring access.

Once spring comes around it's time to put the snowboards and skis away. It's bike riding season!

Will you be joining the PASR Ikon crew?  April Sugarbush will be a goooooood time.  Im booked 10-13 so far and planning on adding to that throughout the month.

Nah, unless Ikon is significantly cheaper than Epic. If I recall Ikon is way more expensive and offers nothing around here besides Windham which is maybe going off Ikon. I'm generally happy with Epic's list of resorts as I still want to ski Vail and Heavenly.
