Thanks, I was about to give you a confused face until I scrolled down. Looks like you're correct đŸ’¯

Nope, she was talking to someone in front of me. After 4:24 ish I'm back and only partially fidgety.
-
That's certainly what it looks like from the camera perspective, but nope, I wasn't asked to move at all.
-
This is rad. I spotted @enjoralas at 8:45 pre-fight.

WJW can't believe @AtomicSkier and @toast21602 missed this monumental occasion to run 30.54 miles and 31.63 miles, respectively. Combined that's like running 74.7 horizontal lengths of the brand new Main Street Express Chairlift. WTGAI

I propose the public gets to ride Razor's Edge every other weekend, and the race team can get some other trail like School Hill or Pioneer Pass.
-
WJW that's so bananas. I hope Camelback finds some extra ink so they can print more tickets. I would be pissed if I drove all the way from Brooklyn to Camelback and found out they ran out of ticket ink.

I don't think I'll sleep at all tonight because I'm so excited to ride the new 6 Pack Safari! I find I'm so excited, I can barely sit still or hold a thought in my head. Only 52,860 seconds until opening remarks and 53,760 seconds until the chopping of the pink ribbon! I think I'll be completely drunk on Yoo-Hoos by that time and will be yelling "Speech, speech, speech, speech". This is fantastic. The last time I was this excited was never.

There was trash at Hunter yesterday, I can't believe there's trash in New York too!
-
All the rain coming will be good for the snowmaking retention ponds. Any skiing before Leif Erikson day is a bonus.

That was great for SUJOPO!! When Bethlehem Ford Guy came on I expected it to say Bethlehem Ford Guy on the bottom. I didn't know he has a real name.
-
Grilled Sandwich would you ever make a day trip to Hunter?? I was reading your stats from the early 2000's the other day and I saw you went to Hunter and even Big Boulder.

"Fellow Blue Mountain patrons, today we commemorate the opening of this collosal metallic engineering wonder designed across the vast expanse of the Atlantic Ocean and manufactured by the finest Swiss ski lift maker in Europe, so that we humanoid beings can be gloriously ascended upwards over billions of frozen granular atoms along a one thousand foot high pile of dirt in the great Appalachian Mountains". -John Law, probably

It was pretty nice for the weather conditions everyone's been having. I think of Hunter as better than anything in the Poconos, but not as good as Vermont. It's the only place on the Epic Pass really worth day tripping to besides JFBB.

Some pics from Hunter yesterday. Got there for 9:30 as it's too hard to get up super early but it was a nice 4.5 hour session. Most trails skied nicely in the morning but the steeps turned to nasty pure ice later in the day so I moved to the Blue Squares. Overlook wasn't groomed so that was a bit rowdy skiing in man made perder... Not like skiing out west but still kinda fun, I guess. Never waited for a lift more than about 30 seconds

If I use hyper wax on my skis and duck down to the ground I can sort of still recognize Atomic Jeff on the horizon -

That's crazy... WJW $60?? Good thing I bought my own equipment and wax. It's pretty easy to DIY. From what I understand machine Wax is basically a waste of money except you go fast for one run or something -
On Blue's Facebook they are saying opening remarks begin at 9:45. @GrilledSteezeSandwichif you sneak up and cut the ribbon early I'll give you the free Captains Wafer in my knapsack.

I asked the bartender to slide me a cold one but I only drink space beer.

I stopped at a Stewarts gas station before getting to Hunter and bought 2 bananas, a Lucky Charms breakfast bar and an Egg McSandwich. This way I didn't have to spend $50 on Hunter food. It was grate savings. I saved a lot. On the way home I checked the balance on a BP gift card from 2014 that I found in my sock drawer and it still had $40 so I basically got free gas and someone even pumped it for me so I didn't have to even get out of my car. It was rad

Sounds terrible, you should ask for your $20 back. -
Drove to Hunter today. It was grate. Maybe next time @AtomicSkierwill offer to drive his BMW with my skis up to 20N so I can fly into Hunter. That would be rad

I'm so excited and I just can't hide it. I might ski X-ing, X-ing again, Connector, X-ing, Curtze's Crusty Cabins and then Connector to Lower Vista
