I have no idea how to change the binding to fit me booties though 🤷🏻‍♂️

you gotta bring a tool called a file and shave off a bit of the toe/heel lip of your boot where it clips into the binding. it's pretty straightforward.

that's if the boot is too big. if it's too small you can always just screw the lips into the ski directly.

I love pizz and I love old forge pizz but I'm no expert. What I will say is that any pizz is good pizz and pizz iz life. I want pizz but I have wings primed and ready. Yay football.

@Schifis the old forge master if I'm not mistaken.

@benm this is what base damage looks like 😬

Heated up the bases a bit with the wax iron and applied metal grip with a soldering tip, finished off with a little p-Tex.

we’ll see if it holds, hopefully tommorrow

oof not good was that from today?

if it's right next to the edge, that does make the edge a little more prone to injury so you might wanna fill it in. take a photo and let's see what you're working with here?

here are some photos. hard to get an idea on the depth of it.

i'm prob overreacting. please don't bust my balls tooooo hard if this shit is laughable.

Do you see wood or fiberglass through the gouges in your bases? If not, rock and roll. Anything else is superficial and will make your skis marginally slower (@AtomicSkier response in 3... 2... 1...), but it's not gonna ruin your skiing unless you've got plastic hanging off the bases.

nah, nothing like that, just kind of deep in whatever the bottom material is and it is next to the edge. thanks, that gives me a good idea of what to look for in the future.
