It was lower but I think artificially. PHL county reported none (actually -1), maybe 600ish, can't remember.

    Edit - less, 577

So I just went to the thing and it is showing that there's some maintenance or something. that, plus the number i got yesterday was way off from what they're reporting. turns out, it was phl county that caused the difference. I checked the new cases showing for phl, added to the 577 number and it came out to their total - 725

also interesting -- the location where i get the numbers from had an updated file yesterday. it has since been deleted and not replaced. not really sure what they're doing. i also don't know why they had to mention something about allegheny having so many overnight or whatever they are highlighting, since that number was accurate in the original data i got.

Yeah that place was pretty good. First time I had it was maybe a month ago. Pizza.

Stay at home order again in Atlanta. Back to phase one there.

i wish there was something out there to see how close PA counties were to going back to yellow etc. I think i know the formula, but it's a lot of work trying to get the county pop etc and matching things up. i wonder how close some (allegheny in particular, even york) are.

How many tests? Any word on that?

i've still been unable to find somethign that has daily tests aside from the PA site but it's a week prior. but give me a bit, i might be able to find out

    edit --

this was the difference in number of negative tests from today vs yesterday - 17608
that 1009 number includes 'probable' so i dont know if it would be accurate to include it as actual 'tests'.

If something was contaminated, then they just contaminated the wallet and CC.

along the same vein, i think it's funny that people who are so panicked about everything still order takeout with some gigantic trust in where it's coming from. I can't tell you how many times I've seen someone run a card with no gloves at a register (how many have they touched?). Ok, maybe they sanitized hands after, but probably not between the time they swiped the card and touched the terminal. It'd need like 4 sanitizations between one transaction (handing card, touching terminal, returning card, handing over goods. Then, they hand you a package / box / bag after touching the terminal, cards all day or cash register keys. Not to mention people are putting their trust in a number of people in the back who truly may or may not give a shit.

It's just as risky as everything else but it's all totally cool and encouraged. I don't understand it. edit: ok not as risky as a packed bar but people are like 'oh wow how did i get this ive been so careful', you don't know if bob from the pizza shop was at the bar 3 days ago and isn't showing signs.

I wonder how many business’s would just flat out defy the order to go back to yellow phase.

imo very few if it means losing a business license or some other sanction.

trying to lock down the public (no gatherings, parties, etc) on the other hand, i doubt they'd be able to control it now that people have gotten a taste of interaction again.

  7. came across something rather interesting... the line graph on pa's site has 736 new cases for today. so i did my stuff with excel and it was showing 995 difference from yesterday. usually these numbers are identical to what is showing on the graph (so the excel doc should have totaled 736 for the day - the diff from today vs yesterday).

so i had a old tab open with the page showing of the 'total' cases that it shows above the graph something like 90k (not the tab i use for the graph). Earlier today it read 90304. I refreshed and now it reads 91299 - a difference of 995.

not sure if i'm interpreting wrong or what, but expect whatever number is shown on the line graph to be revised. if it is in fact 995, it's the highest new daily total since may 9.

@RidgeRacer sorry, i was typing htis up as you replied.

If you have some type of water softener or other filter, its probably installed after the hose.  no real reason to filter water you will most likely be just putting back in the ground.  So you probably have the most pressure there.  You could turn up the pressure at the regulator on the pressure tank.

#nofilter, water here is pretty good. nestle wanted to tap aquifers nearby and people stomped them out. went to basement and it's 1" pex running straight from where everything else comes from for the house. reservoir tank at 58psi, no clue if that's normal, oh well.

3gpm? How do you take showers?

it's just the outdoor spigot that is crazy high output. everything else is normal (i'd like it to be faster tho). i'm not a plumber, so i don't really know why.

edit: i just did a not so scientific test using what i consider to be a narrower than normal gauge of regular garden hose. filled up a gallon in 10sec. using the other/pocket hose was appx 25s / gal.

Oh, i thought maybe your new Blueberry didnt have a calculator.

But even yet, the 1080 gallons is flawed.  That assumes its a totally open line, no restriction at the break or before the break, and if your well pump is still able to produce 3gpm.

lmao at blueberry and yeah, true about the system itself. i don't know all of the exact specs aside from that outdoor spigot has way more output than anywhere else in the house. when i turned the water on it torrentially poured out of the side of the hose. i'm gonna strip the fabric from it and repurpose the rubber liner for drip irrigation in the garden.

1,080 gallons.  Just cause u didnt know.

by result, i meant the effect it would have on the well pump, pressure tank etc.

i also did that math to visualize it in terms of filling a pool (about a fifth for a normal above ground).
