That just looks like a scraped up rocky mess with shrubbery everywhere. Would be OK with a bunch of fresh snow on it but otherwise, meh.
I tend to agree, but now I'm going to have to check this out tomorrow.

They could just be at the forefront of being cheap and usable haha
Lots of companies are afraid of FOSS. It's the future.

Why does that scare you? My company is switching over to that. I've never actually worked with it.
Because if you think Microsoft is at the forefront of anything you're ... wrong.

the thing that scares me the most is it's powered by Microsoft Power BI.

Not likely, closing on a house in April and that’s going to consume most, if not all, of my money
If you can't afford $500 for a season pass, you're stretching yourself too much. Don't be house poor. Sorry, just real talk.

Yeah, Jeff, give your thoughts about different runs already! I am genuinely interested.
You're going to have to wait for the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I skied Peel the other day. I always take CO "EX" terrain with a grain of salt. Sure, it was expert terrain, but nothing EXTREME about it.

What did you think of international? Thats one of the best anywhere I think.
It's steep. Too steep to really let them run.

Why don't you clear the table/patio of snow?...
I already shoveled the driveway yesterday as I knew it was getting warmer and wanted to give it the best chance to melt. Snow removal guy came today and pretended to move snow around for a bit @Barb 😂

You’re going to come back bronzed up like a Greek god.
I'd work from the patio one day just to bronze up, but the table is still covered in about 3ft of snow. Masks really cut into my bronzing, so it'll have to happen when I'm running 🤷♂️

As a sun lover (according to @GrilledSteezeSandwich), today was 10/10. Temps in the low 30s, no wind, and plenty of sunshine. I went out for a 5 mile run at lunch time before heading up to the mountain around 2pm for 90 minutes of skiing in the sun with perfect conditions. Perfect end to the day.

That one day ticket pricing of $100 is just in a constrained market though.
hah ... want to bet it sticks around?

I don't think they'll charge $1000. It clearly would have an affect on season pass purchases based on the feedback here, but would they lose 1/2 of their sales? Probably not, so it'd be everyone's benefit. I do think the early bird should be $599. That's reasonably early season pricing based on what Blue offers. The full priced November pricing should be close to $1000, though, based on same day max ticket pricing at $100+/day.

if you could guarantee this year's conditions next year, sure.
otherwise, 600 early bird = 750/800 regular = approaching epic prices for blue mt = lol
ok, then get epic and ski by yourself at JFBB. you won't, you'll pay the $1000 now that you're hooked. this is why blue is leaving money on the table.

I hope they charge $1,000 for season passes next year. I’ve heard they sold double as many season passes this year as last year and they were on sale well into the ski season.
It’d be worth it for the bitching alone 😂

Groundhogs day. Left the house at 8:40am, picked up the 8:45am bus, and was AIC (ass in chair) by 8:58am. Love that they open early (5-10 minutes before 9am). Slightly cooler and breezier than yesterday but still very sunny, and snow conditions were just as good. The big difference was there was a 1/3 fewer people out today. I doodled in the woods a bit to explore more terrain. When I got back down to the base at 10:45am, the Silver Queen line was like a minute. So up for an International Lap, a pretty freakin steep groomer. And then up for another. I rode the lift with a guy who was born in Allentown, lived in Maryland, but has been doing what I'm doing for the past month. Supposed to be in the mid-30s and sunny tomorrow, so should be yet another day in paradise.
No sausage sunday for me, just some left over pizza and a few beers 😁

Had to do some adult stuff first thing in the morning, that put me in the lot right at 8am.
Hooked up with @tarponheadwho was already a run or two down Coming Soon.
Ended up lapping Coming Soon all morning until having to depart to finish adult stuff the rest of the day, but the lines at the quad were getting far too long for my patience level.
If you stayed in the middle of Coming Soon, the snow was good and very few troughs were down to the dirt.
So done with being an adult! You could pay someone to do half the stuff you complain about doing. Yes, you’d complain about paying someone, but you wouldn’t complain about the extra free time 😂

Another day, another ski day 😁 Today was awesome. Warmest it's been, and extremely sunny. Groomers were 10/10 this morning and was able to really put the hammer down. I hit and quit the main lifts as I know they'd get crowded and explored some of the lesser lifts that I hadn't ridden yet, like East River. Totally empty and you could really crush some fast groomers. Skied until 11, and when I got back to the base area, the two main lifts were out of the corrals (and they're big corrals). Meanwhile, I skied right onto every lift.

Wanted to change it up today, so I ran at lunch time and decided to tour up Snodgrass. Hit the trail at 3:30pm and was at the top at 4:55pm. This was my longest tour to date at just under 3 miles and ~1500ft of gain, and I can tell my boots have broken in nicely as I as overall pretty comfortable. Temps were in the low 20s with on/off sun. Some really nice views, but not sunny when I took the pictures 😂 Because the uphill trail snakes back and forth a bit, you get a good view of some lines. I enjoyed some nice shin deep pow on the way down, but nobody to take any pics 😁
I'm beat, and I'm going to drink all the beer.

Is that Gothic mountain in the back or Snodgrass? Or both? Views are 10/10 👌
I'm 99% sure the densely treed hill on the far right is Snodgrass.

Decided to change it up today, and ski after work, as I had a lot going on today. Skied for about 90 minutes...enjoyed some sunny groomers and some double diamond extreme terrain. Like @GrilledSteezeSandwich said, I love the sun, and I was enjoying myself today.
