  1. you sure about that? i might just wait for the weekend, which could be a mistake because everyone will be there, but then again, more places will be open by then, so i dunno
  2. what are you talking about? nobody said anything about speeding tickets
  3. if my friend and i go up, we'll charge $20 a head for a seat in his escalade... it includes a nice leather seat, thats it, and your guarenteed to arrive at your destination in under 4 hours and 15 minutes. GUARENTEED! All additional passengers are reponsible for speeding tickets, as the Cadillac Escalade can easily cruise above 90mph
  4. yea, the highs for blue on monday and tuesday, according to weather.com look to be around low-mid 40's with the low on tuesday at 25, but i'll warm back up....at least its getting colder, i love to see days where the highs are in the 40s...
  5. wooo woo! i can't wait......
  6. thats tannersville, new york, doh!
  7. no, that is BUll SHit
  8. yea switching is fun, and when you have nice race skis, you don't want them getting destroyed, as what happened to mine. its nice to have a pair of GS and SL skis, because of how radically different they are, its fun

  11. at first, i thought they meant that "you" in general have to be a fast skiier to be able to get some of that. haha, i didn't know lineski thought that was ski999 that picture is from http://www.bodelicious.net/
  12. yes, that definatly is a reason to ski fast....skidude, if your as fast as him, you could get hot girls like that too
  13. AtomicSkier

    Hmmm

Skidude, that's great for you, you can fill dem up w/ the beer that you stole from skidad, and hiding underneath your older brothers bed
  14. lol anyone in the lehigh valley can tell if blues lights are on, because they truely do light up the whole sky.....when im on airport road, right by LVIA airport, you can see the sky above where blue mtn should be, all lit up in orange, they throw off so much light
  15. AtomicSkier

    Hmmm

hahahah, that is great....i dunno, drinking different amounts would mean different weighted poles
  16. but that's all part of the ski....face it, atomic rocks
  17. speed doesn't matter, its the results, you should know that....you can be the "fastest" skier in the world, but you gotta be able to turn...thats why i hate corvettes, they're fast, but they can't handle....

they look great!! you can't even tell where it was repaired...there are still some surface stratches, but like ski999 said, a flat base is slower...so its like a built in structure (which i already have)...but they look great, and they didnt charge me anything for the repair, just the full tune ($19.95)...great deal

    Tuning

my bases were flat, but i was getting some base repair work done, so i felt it was just good to get it all smoothed out.....if anyone is going to get their skis tuned for the season, i'd recommend a 1 degree base, and 1 degree side edge bevel. If you are a bit more aggresive, go with a 1 degree base, 2 degree side bevel, but it require more effort and maintence to keep it sharp. My skis last year, in the beginning of the season at least, had a 1 degree base, 3 degree side, which holds pretty well on ice I went with the 1:2 this year, gunna see how that feels
