  1. yea, either a former eagles player, or a current one just bought this really nice house, on the BAY, for like $14 million. It is almost illegal in Stone Harbor NOT to drive a BMW. The town of Stone Harbor is great, including Springer's ice cream. And unlike in OC and AC, the tallest building in stone harbor is 3 stories high....
  2. Our beachhouse is just south of you, in beautiful Stone Harbor.
  3. im sure the guns have been tested, im just waiting for the real snowmaking to occur
  4. they've spruced it up, but yea, still lattace-type fencing....
  5. when?
  6. I do have a little against Camelback though, the fact that most of the mountain is just runout. The headwall trails are like 500 ft long, then its just flat back to the lifts. Blue and Elk have no real runout trails.
  7. i'll probably be going too Belleayre
  8. orgasmic!
  9. yea i saw that on the weather.com radar, snap a picutre!
  10. DaveyJ is a cool guy, really. We've had some fun times at Camelback. I have never met DaveK, nor do I want too after some quarrels with him over some issues. DaveK does not project a positive attitude towards me about Camelback, and if hes worried about his little messageboard being negative PR, maybe he should take a step back, and think about his actions.
  11. i am hopefully going up on saturday....and i will definatly snap some peak-tures
  12. You're not alone emtp, i've converted ThinkSnow. He had a camelcard last year, and he pm'ed me asking about blue, cause he knew I had a season pass there (thats how we met, actually) and I gave him the low down, so he went opening day, loved it, and only went back to CB occasionally to use his camelcard up. He know has a season pass to Blue. I do have to agree, camelback gets insanely crowded, and while Blue doesn't have as many lifts, i always do laps on Razors Edge and Challenge until abot 10:30 (thats when there is actually 10 people in front of you on the lift) and then i usually eat lunch around 11, so i have the lunch hour to ski, in which i usually then move up to the upper mtn lifts, which are never crowded. Ski a few runs using those lifts, then call it a day. If you know when to use what lifts, you'll find much shorter lines at blue, and you'll love the added vert.
  13. don't you mean overthinking it?
  14. Nothing is nicer then a freshly waxed and sharpened pair of skis, they glide so much better on flats, and they turn so much nicer.....
  15. hmm, i always thought it was the other way around
  16. Speaking about blue, i went to get my season pass today. it was heaven. I turned right into blue's driveway, dropped a gear, shot up to 60, rounded the corner, saw the gates, and i thought to myself, i am home. it felt so ncie to be back again. i miss it so much.
  17. how'd ya know that? anyway, nice to see you here, and hope you enjoy.
  18. Every mountain is ready to go.....When i went to get my pass at Blue today, some girl asked when they'd be opening, and they said early december, which is correct. How 'inside' are you at Camelback? If you don't wanna reveal your position, i understand
  19. because im the only skiier in my family, besides my dad, but he started skiing just so he could be better then me, but that isn't happening...my mom used to ski, but really hasn't gotten back into it. I'm trying to get her too. Then my family could take ski vacations....
  20. we own 3, the house in VT is given to us for the winter... and don't get me started about having a house out west....if i had any say whatsoever, we'd have 1 house here, and 1 out there....
  21. yea....
  22. Our lakehouse, which is about 5 mins or so from ski's house, is in Wayne...so i'm assuming he's in Wayne too (i believe wayne and carbon maybe? split wallenpaupack down the middle)
  23. North of lake wallenpaupack, i'll say that
  24. theres no way...simply no way.
