Congrats! I lent one of my friends that is at kms Dr.d's stuff to try and he got hurt trying it out. ripped off his acl. I whent to the hosipital to see him and he just looks at me and goes "that wax was just too F&&*in slippery." i got a good kick out of it.

Method i wish i saw this thread earler. but nastar is a good way to start out. You really dont get any competion until you get to nationals if your in the 15 to 25 or so age range and even then you wont get much. also depending on your confanince leval i would also check out the USASA racing. i did a race with them yesterday at Ascutney mtn. but i was the only one in my age bracket. +1 on what ski said about riding in the ruts. i had to go 2nd to last yesterday for both edvents (GS then a SL) and the corse was rutted to hell.

killy was nice yesterday. until my buddy jessica got hurt in the park.

maybe i'll see you up here on tuesday and wensday. i'm done finals on monday so i'm gonna stay up here for a bit and just riding.

If i had more money i would be their more offten. I have a friend that lives in stowe. spent a few weekends at her house before ski season started fun times.

ok well i just got back. it was about 20degrees at the peak of k1 in the morning. I was there with my chick (her first day out in two years sucks for her), Adam's GF, this guy from iowa Paul, and my friend Jess that lives in Stowe but has not gone to the mtn scince 8th grade. spent a lot of time on great northern so that Lauren and Jess could try to re-learn how to board. I'm devloping a love affair with east falls. I rode a lift with Adam but i dont think he reconised me. now i have to write a paper for images of nature. :
