Gorgeous day. 0 but feels great with bright ass sunshine. Soft cord... Fan fucking tasic. First run off little WF, from approach all the way down. Gonna head over to lookout mountain for Wilmington and Hoyts. Life is good

No breakfast. Not really a hotel. More like a bunch of cabins. In room coffee though and I stocked up on nature valley bars at the gas station last night so I'm good.

Looking like 1 - 3 inches of snow officially with bright sunshine this morning. Upper Empire is listed as closed as is Lookout Below. Hoyts High however is reopened as well as everything else I care about skiing (not counting the slides of course). Should be fun!

The 3 to 5 forcasted on whiteface.com this morning has vanished. Saying an inch now but I feel like an inch has fallen in town since I've been here. Their conditions page doesn't seem too reliable. We'll see what the the official word is in the morning. Tarpon will do. Not banking on upper empire, lookout below or Hoyts high unfortunately.

Snowing pretty good now. Missed not being able to see the high peaks on the way in.

Place called Cobble mountain Lodge. Second time staying there. At a pizza joint now. Most stores in town closed at 6. Note to self for tomorrow.

Arrived in the LP not too long ago. Snowed pretty much from the Catskills to Lake Placid. Didn't make road conditions too terrible on 87 but definitely forced me to keep the speeds down a bit. Still made pretty good time despite that. 73 (the road through Kean into LP) was sketchy in spots (pic below) which hopefully means good things for conditions on the mountain tomorrow. The stoke levels are pretty high right now. Headed to town now to find food and maybe a birthday present for my wife.

I aim to please Doug. PASR is about to come alive with TRs from some of the best mountains on both coasts.

I feel like there's a sexual reference there. Haha. No she's not which means I'm solo and blowing you mofos up with a running TR.

Leaving around noon. I think I picked the right days to ski up there this week. Tomorrow should be good if the forecast holds. Possible 5 inches overnight on the mountain.
