You should head back. They've expanded it a bit since the 90s (lookout mountain). Honestly for someone who loves vert I'm surprised you haven't skied WF more. Stowe has escaped me, unfortunately, over the years... mainly due to its distance so I can't compare. JFDan has been to both. My focus over the last few years is skiing west of the Mississippi but if I'm ski tripping within driving distance I can always be easily convinced to hit up Lake Placid.

Granted I have skied more areas in the west than I have in the east (outside of PA). That said WF is still my favorite of my limited east coast (non PA) experience. Oh and I almost purchased furniture from an ADK furniture store in Keene Valley a few years ago. After reading this I'm kicking myself for not supporting them haha.

I don't know about you but that new kitchen equipment really gets me stoked. You're probably right. Do they not see the irony in comparing it to Vermont then? And why people should rip them for doing so? I say this all the time. Cool place but their marketing is terrible.

Toast's fantasy football draft is tonight. Football means fall. Fall means RideDelaware will post about leaves. RideDelaware posting about leaves means ski season is coming. What are you all doing? For me it'll end a bunch of days at Blue. Last year's UT trip complete with Pats SB victory was f-ing sweet but I hear J Hole may be the hot spot this year. Perhaps it's time to make the pilgrimage? Probably getting my 4yo out for the first time this year as well. Should be a good season!

I think it's funny (translate pathetic) that people complain about the weather on Facebook. Especially beautiful weather. They must act like the apocalypse has arrived when the Temps fall below freezing.

Be sure to post up your condition reports regularly. PASR has definitely become BMSR (I'm definitely part of that). A little diversification is nice. Plus we missed your posts last winter. Sent from my P00A using Tapatalk

Agreed although I'd use mountains in the west as the litmus test more so than bumps. If you're skiing blacks with some semblance of form at a snowbird or squaw you're probably advanced. If you're hopping into the cirque all baller like you're probably an expert. Bump conditions are so variable in the east that it's tough to gage..at least for me. Although if you're killing it in icy bumps you're probably an expert. I agree that the PASRs rip. No doubt skiing with people on PASR has made me a better skier. More so than any lesson ever could. Live Nation is huge. They bring in big acts over there with these events. I can see them making bank. Dan has a point though. Is running the ski area eating into those profits? If so that can't be good for the skiing part of the business. I like Montage and if I lived closer this pass would be a no brainer
