Can't wait till tomorrow night. Wish they were open until 10. They may need to pull me out of there kicking and screaming at 9.

I think I know the guy. Real cool dude.

Looks like we'll be skiing in 2 days!

See you there. I'll be there after work.

Snowmaking? More Like Dream Making at Jack Frost.
RidgeRacer replied to weedreimer's topic in Jack Frost & Big Boulder
Actually he may be the only one since KC no longer works at Montage. But I was referring to overall. There have been a few others over the years but I always appreciated the one's that post useful info as opposed to the one's coming on here to blow smoke up our asses. -

Weedeimer you're up there with KCski for the "best mountain rep" award on PASR. Appreciate your insight. -
Putters around may be a bit harsh. Blue has been trying with every chance they could and spent a shit ton of cash trying to do so in the process only to see it melt away. Not much else they could've done unless they focused on one trail only instead of trying to spread it around (ie. tubing)

I'm in full on panic mode.

Wow just wow. That November 23rd 2011 post was a doozie

Already know where and when you're going west this season?

The chutes are insane. -
Oh how I feel for you

Down to $79 now. No Montage or Gore though. Not worth it.

I won't even attempt to try and understand what you wrote but thanks for the pics though.

Yes. I worked at a ski area. People showed up ready to ski and tube in the summer. We also experienced an El Nino year where all of the snow melted and people showed up

big boulder PARK Open on 12/12 & 12/13
RidgeRacer replied to weedreimer's topic in Jack Frost & Big Boulder
I was talking about how you referred to BDK as "a fucking gaper and a cop". Kinda harsh. -

While, I'm not gonna lie, the above is funny; you've still managed to insult 2 former posters in this thread for some ungodly reason. Why? What if they decided to come back to PASR and the first thing they saw were your harsh words? Think McFly think. Here's my thing though, if you let someone "run" you off a message board, I question whether you should have been on that message board to begin with. Sibhusky was a big loss. She posted Montana stoke and BigDaddyK's Jack Frost TRs were epic. He was the Jack Frost OG. If I recall though I believe he came back briefly a year or so ago and mentioned that he quit skiing for a while which may be why he bailed on PASR. -
Congratulations. Appreciate you rubbing our noses in it. Will be sure to do the same next time you all experience bullshit like this. Edit...This weather is straight nonsense and it's getting to me.

WNEP card has Whiteface?

Two years ago I was skiing Blue's trees, honeybee, marquis route, the mtb trails etc etc a few days after a big storm. It was a Tuesday morning if I remember. That day was just as much fun if not funner than some of the days I've had skiing trails at Killington or Stratton. Blue is a totally different animal when off piste is an option. Anyway I'm not spending 25 days out west this season (maybe 3) so a Belle or Hunter trip is forthcoming. Mid December with no skiing locally in my foreseeable future isn't sitting well with me.

I'm just looking for any terrain at this point.

I'll just go ahead and leave these direct quotes from PASR's own Phillycore on his fondness for Snowbird right here...(source the "11-12 PASR Utah Invasion thread"). Enjoy. "Snowbird - Gnarly Terrain like Jackson Hole and Squaw Valley, and we hit it on a pow day. I really don't need to say anything else..... It's a sick place and I will be back!! Tied in my #2 spot with Jackson Hole as my favorite mountains I've skied at." "Snowbird we hit on the powder day, I expected it to be great, but never expected to like it anywhere near as much as JH or Squaw...as I had put those two in a class by themselves it delivered big time." Fantastic observations Mr. Core. I certainly agree! (note the bold font ). -
Speaking of trains. Polar Express was on the other night...one of the greatest Christmas movies of all time!
