They're opening

You know what's absurd? Snowbird got 2 feet of snow and I'm watching "Aerial America - Utah" on the Smithsonian channel.

Maybe I'd make opening more if they opened at 730.

It's 6:17...I'm mad Katy Perry (wide awake) and posting on PASR.

I would totally be there. My ass is old now. Sleeping in nowadays is 7am.

I just finished up my Blue Mountain pass holder survey. In the comments I asked them to (among other things) bring back the 7:30 opening on weekends. Who knows if enough of us ask for it they just might bring it back. Probably a pipe dream akin to winning the lottery or Taylor Swift actually posting on PASR... But you never know right?

Also was set on going today but by the time 10am rolled around I was planning on a trip to the playground with the kids on a 68 degree day. I would have been there last week as well as this week if they opened at 8. 50 bucks more in my pocket I guess. 32 days... 25 at Blue, 3 at frost, 4 in Colorado... Last day was closing day at Blue. Not bad. I feel kinda shitty not skiing any days in April.

Can't be. I'd be shocked and appalled.

I do enjoy a good spray. Believe it or not you and Jeff got me into that a few years back at Camelback when I was rocking some volkl race skis and you guys were spraying the hell out of me. I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

It can't tell you how badly it sucks driving past blue on the way to work every morning and seeing it covered in snow knowing that it's all going to waste.

I came to the sad realization today that I may be finished. Unless I can swing something tomorrow... Couldn't get over to BB at all this week. I wanted to hit up the skillz but I'm so freaking busy that I can't even make it up the road to big Boulder let alone upstate NY. We'll see. I want at least one more day.

No alien pass at CB? Thinking Boulder one night this week and CB next weekend possibly.

They had to have today. Shit I dropped 12 bucks on a cheeseburger. 6 minutes left in the season and every 6 pack is full. Managed one last run on Switchback, razors, and NMDW. Tear ?

With 45 minutes left in the season there are still more people here than most other resorts in a busy day.

They're actually fairly nice and as an added bonus it smells like plastic inside.

Aren't they still putting in the waterpark and doing some shit to the lodge?

I honestly think they're closing to get started on building projects. Twas a great season. I'll be back today with the kids. Camelback next weekend?

I hope you all have a great time. I'll be there in spirit. I'll actually be at blue but on the bunny slopes with my 5 year old. Been promising her that I would take her skiing and every time I try something comes up. Anywho we'll stop by and say hello if you all aren't too crazy. Lol.

I like how the guy yells "Athletic stance" lol... Amazing skiers? I think so!

Really sucks to hear no one was there. Probably 50 to 75 here at blue still... Crazy how popular this hill is.

Ok I take back what I said about the snow. NMDW is a hockey rink. The snow on the side of the trail reminds me of the snoopy snow cone maker. That thing was the shit back in the day.

Pulling up the rear with a Sunday night sesh despite stopping at taco bell for dinner. So far the need to blow up blue Mountain's lower lodge rest room (middle stall) has proven itself elusive... Thankfully.. Anyway snow is decent. Fast sugar. I'm liking it!
