I'm skiing for sure but it's between that or a day trip to the skills.

Anyone know if "Bear and South" at mountain Creek are any good? That's the only shit open there tomorrow. I have the WNEP ticket so it's free. Not sure if it's worth the drive though.

Actually weekday options kinda suck. All of PA is closed. Greek is actually closed tomorrow (but open today) so the options for tomorrow are mountain Creek with only the terrain Park section open. Not sure if that's worth the 1 1/2 hours, Bellayere or Hunter. I'm off tomorrow so I really want to ski. Leaning towards bell

Debating between Greek Peak and bellayere tomorrow.

Phillycore I hear instructors are in high demand at Blue. You should inquire ;-)

I'm leaning towards Sunday. Tomorrow may be a last minute decision depending on the weather.

I wish I was there today. There was something special about last night (without sounding corny) It was quiet, I had lazy, nightmare, switchback etc to myself. There was an orange glow at one point from the sunset on the slopes. Just fucking cool. I had that feeling of solitude that you don't get very often around here.

Bear creek showed up frost (microclimate and all)

The 23rd is late for Frost. They've closed earlier. The kick in the balls is the fact that they have (like everyone else) a shit ton of snow. It's all about the benjamins though.

Tonight was fun. Windy as hell but conditions were good. Took a run with Mr DKJ who peaced out a little after I got there. The wind definitely kept the speed in check. Nightmare, d weaver and switchback were good. Took a few pics...

Sucks. Wow.

That fresh cord looks mid winter like, not almost April like. C1er from the top of the blue mountain, in addition to your homestead, if you look closely you can see Big Pocono mountain (aka camelwhack) and other interesting geological features that make up the vast Pocono plateau.

I'll miss the after work night sessions at Blue. Tomorrow night is likely my last for the season. Tear. Anyway I'll keep an eye out for those of you in attendance tomorrow evening.

Can't get there that early unfortunately. Looking at a 530 or so arrival. How long were you planning on staying?

I love how they put an exclamation point next to the announcement too. Like it's a good thing their ski season is over. Shit has me shaking my Herman.

They gotta be the first area in Vermont to be closing for the season... Oh wait.

Decent day with a number of PASRs in attendance. I arrived around 1015 and conditions were decent. Grippy for the most part, mostly snow cone, sugar etc. Not as good as yesterday but decent. Temps warmed up after noon and things softened up slightly. Crowds were fairly large and the quad was closed which was a bummer which meant lines at the 6 pack. Root and I even got scolded for moving towards the lift before we were told. Looking forward to more of that during the peak weekends next season. Regardless twas a fun day of skiing.
