    i like the grocery stores that have an invisible fence like people have for dogs, but instead it is for shopping carts. fun fact...some homeless guy at the eagles parade turned a shopping cart into a carcoal grill and was selling warm food to people

    i think its time for a good new PASR controversy/beef. i dont know why you guys want to ban eaf, i give him props for bringing the beef to the front door like Dominos. also props to sally for keeping her foot on poster's necks when they come at her sideways.

    doug, any good word on jackson forceast for the next 2 weeks? i was looking at this weeks forecast and it looks like a few new inches each day. however, you seem to be in the know more than most. they just cleared the 300 inch mark

    Remember 10 years ago when a strap broke, you simply unscrewed the broken piece on the slopes and bought a new one for $4 in the rental shop? remember when any strap could fit on any binding, regardless of manufacturer? those days are long gone. nowadays, binding manufacturers make specific straps that only work on that particular model, and like college text books change the page numbers each year so you cant buy used books, binding manufactures change the screw sizes each year so you cannot find replacement parts. to even unscrew the broken toe strap on my ride bindings, i have to take the whole fucking binding off the board. i tried using my old rome bindings, but due to their design bullshit, i had to not only take the binding off the board, but take the whole thing apart just to see if it was a male or female strap. turns out, those fuckers use a hybrid strap that doesnt use screws. i called ride and they said to go to my local shop, so ill try that today but im not hopeful, cause most shops have generic straps, which as i just discussed, are essentially worthless nowadays. plus, my bindings are 3 years old, so screw sizes have changed since then.

    can somebody summarize what is going on? anytime ski equipment other than mantras get discussed on this site, i get confused. i believe the argument is over bindings right now? or is it eaf's criticism of this site? do eaf and sally have beef?

    Got to blue at 7:40 and parked in Jeffs spot. I was the only one in line for opening and got first (and only) civilian chair. 1st run was paradise and I could barely see. Second run was night weaver. Thanks to Jeff and toast, I didn't haul ass down it cause I knew features were coming. The second half was a border cross course. Kind of fun I thought. Wanted to ride til 10 but left at 9:30 mainly cause I kept having to wring the water out of my gloves. I had fun despite the weather. I may have literally been the only paying customer there lol. There were a lot of race kids there cause it looked like both razors and night weaver were prepared for events that got cancelled

    you are probably right, i just like to bitch about things lol. but honestly, you could make the argument blue has more room to make high ticket prices than vermont, because blue relies 100% on snowmaking

    true and you are correct, but I could make the argument Stowe learned a valuable lesson about not being greedy that was worth much more money than they would have made on the ticket. they learned that when you make unreasonable prices, you create a black market. plus, the salary they are paying their agent to run around the lot playing rent a cop could have been saved to offset the cost of the black market they knowingly and purposely created

    believe it or not, multiple posters will probably complain about the nice hustle you pulled off. its ridiculous cause there is literally no losers....you saved money and the guy you sold the ticket to saved money.

    shadows, jeff, and myself are all former CB pass holders. i get crap on here cause i think CB is second best mountain in PA lol. i want to get back to CB and Bear Creek because along with blue, those were the 3 mountains i was raised at
