Schif, I think you should get a blue pass and join the pasr blue crew. You won't be as motivated to come up when you have to pay $80 or whatever blue is charging nowadays. A lot of times we have a crew of 10+ people on weekends

i feel like im one of the only people in the world who has ridden long haul a majority of times ive been to montage. ive been there probably 9 times and it was open for 6 or 7 of them

montage is fun, but it is essentially 3 good runs on the north face. i dont count white lighting cause of the moguls.

i thought montage was second best in pa until i rode there 3 days in one season. ended up knocked down to #4

In buck mans parking lot. Didn't find anything in the tent, but still got 20% off. Got heavy duty 686 jacket and pants, plus burton gloves for under $400. I was expecting to be over $600

when it was wicks they were open til like 9 smh

even worse, i need to stop at total hockey as well and they close at 6 smh

damn, buckmans closes at 7 tonight, thought they would be open later

You ain't wrong. A day off without snowboarding in winter is completely a waste and enrages me greatly

I do 1 hour and 15 mins from Conshy or 1 hour and 45 mins from my parents house. I've always been fine with long drives anytime of the year, but ski season I certainly don't have a problem with them. The true challenge is waking up in time to make the first chair rush (or walk on some weekdays).

ive been cutting the line at blue for years and no one ever says anything. its a perk i get for being a loyal passholder

i think the only reason its open is because the mayor is going to jail soon, and it was his crown jewel or something and he wants it open before going away

im assuming blue buys their rental equipment used from mountains out west who are done with it. all the rental gear at camelback has "Mammoth Mountain Ski School" carved into them lol

crowds are better at BB opening day because it makes the riding more interesting. last year they opened with 2 trails...one without features, and one with features. the one without features was empty. after about 5 runs it gets boring mad fast, so you go over to the park and do the human slalom, which makes the 300 yard run much more interesting

i havent been in the blue mountain glades in years. even during that 30 inch plus storm, you couldn't ride them cause there was no base before the storm

i dont understand the existence of steamboat. what is the point of it?
