  6. ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD TRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP. For skiing reasons.....of course.
  7. Not sure if ill be there tomorrow or this weekend. My cousin and I are riding either Boulder or Blue tomorrow and I left the choice up to him since hell be paying cashola. If I had the choice I would choose B...............Big Boulder.
  8. Apologies for the worst trip report of the year.... Lemme try to redeem myself now that im in front of a computer... First and foremost, Happy Thanksgiving to all. Rolled out of my complex at 5am and arrived at the Town of Hunter at 810 which included a quick stop along the way. I wanted to get there early in hopes of finding a pair of pants at a local board shop in town and luckily, I was able to do exactly that. Pulled into the lot at 825, parked and walked inside to use the restroom and just walk around the lodge, since ive never been there. Back to the car to get ready and walked to the lift around 850. It was pretty windy with no sun in site which made for a cold day. The board at the top of the lift was being updated every couple hours and by my last run it read 16 degrees and 20mph winds...SMH. I believe I got 3rd chair on the Kaatskill Fly-YA (bill burr voice), which is the only lift I rode all day. 11 trails were advertised but there was really only 2 ways down: Minya Konka - Lower Crossover - Off Broadway - Mossybrook AND ALSO Hellgate - 7th Avenue - Kennedy Drive. For the better part of the day I choose to take the Minya Konka way for a few reasons but the biggest reason being was it was just an easier way down. For somebody who doesn't care much for steeps/speed and rides a tiny freestyle board, the top half of the mountain had some challenging trails. A few Adrenalin rushes were had lol, but I do feel like I got a little better from this. Conditions varied from powder, manmade powder, nice groomers and also the dreaded scrapped off ice. During my first two hour session the man made and natural powder was a lot of fun, especially on the top of Minya Konka. By my second two hour session starting around 1145 a lot of the snow was pushed off the center of the trails so I tried to stay on the outside. It did lightly snow from 11 till the time I left, well more so heavy flurries. Like said above I did 2 roughly 2 hour sessions getting 9 runs during each. No lift lines and the only time I waited would be to ride the lift alone (with nobody else behind me in line). Only 5 park features 4 of which would be considered kiddie park features. Lame. I look forward to going back once the whole mountain is open, especially the new trails and lift on the north side. This is total opinion, but I feel like their trail map could be done a lot better. The mountain feels much bigger than the trail map leads you to believe and the Kaatskill Flyer takes you 1600' in vertical in 7 minutes, impressive. Overall a great day and like I said I look forward to going back later in the winter. New pants
  9. 9 more runs and I’m rolling out right now. Report to come later.
  10. Just did 9 runs off the Kaatskill flyer from 9-11. Taking a quick coffee and 420 break. I’ll post an actual report later.
  11. LMAO. and people say BB is a waste of time..
  12. Now all you dorks can stop complaining about not having anywhere to ride
  13. Boooo. Thanks for the info though. I checked Boulders Instagram before posting after seeing nothing, but theres a post now saying they wont open back up till Friday.
  14. I wonder in Boulder will open up Wed night. Id love to get up there assuming they open.
  15. Already on the road home (1150). 12 runs down freedom park and I got my fix in. Learned a couple new things. Lift lines weren’t bad for the first hour then became pretty bad after that, idk about the other lift haha. Not much else to report TBH. Good snow and rail setups as expected. Shout out to Boulder for continually opening first and giving us somewhere to ride in November.
  16. Soft like charmin, HTFU and day trip Hunter next weekend.
  17. Anybody riding today or tomorrow?? Im thinking Boulder tomorrow morning for opening....
  18. BB opened at 1PM. This is Freedom Park at 1:25. And Freedom Park at 2:35.
  19. Today was the best opening day I’ve ever had. Rolled in at about 12:20, got my peak pass in about 5 minutes flat and was suited and booted by 12:50. Saw @toast21602 in the lot and we ended up waiting for 2nd chair, and essentially the first riders down this season...in PA. Between Little Boulder and Freedom park we did 11-12 runs between 1 and 245 with a quick break in there. No lift lines longer than 2 minutes except the last run on freedom at 230, although we expected it. The conditions; fantastic. Couldn’t ask for better cord with ungroomed perder on riders right (highlight of my day). I believe toast counted 18 jibs on freedom. Pretty freaking legit, but not too surprising knowing Boulder. All in all it was an awesome day and a fun day with another PASRer.
  20. About to get Second chair with @toast21602
  21. 25 minutes for my usual 7 minute ride home from work. Not bad time but pretty terrible roads. lol Im just happy to finally have a thread hit 3 pages
