HELL YEA @ the 1pm Friday opening. Hopefully get there early and beat the crowd.

Pretty much in the same boat. I'm hoping Hunter will open on Friday and I can head up there.

Finally, The weekend we've all been waiting for!! Figured we could use this to discuss whos open, with how much terrain and figure out peoples plan for the weekend. I already took off of work on Friday so I think ill hit Boulder. Get up there early and pick up my Peak Pass and probably only do a few runs. I'm also thinking ill hit Hunter on Sunday depending on if they actually open and how much terrain they have. What's everybody's plan for this weekend?

And if they're able to open a few more trails ill go. Does Blue usually push to open ASAP?

Yea next Saturday, the 17th is still my tentative plan. I would really like to see them put down a decent amount of snow between now and next weekend before committing.

For sure. Even if I use the pass 5 times (ill likely use it way more) it should pay for itself. Plus I want to go to Hunter a couple times since ive never been. Same for Jack Frost, ill probably bring my nephew with me to Frost as more of a leisure/slow day. Add in a couple weekends at Snow and the pass is paid for. Thanks for the Hunter info, weekdays it is! I highly highly doubt ill make it to Attitash or Wildcat, way too far. lol

Correct. For some reason I thought this expansion was opening next season, not this season. Nice surprise. I'm getting a Peak Pass in the coming weeks and I'm really looking forward to hitting Hunter a couple times this season.

@Ski2Live Live2Ski you catch a lot of slack on here but it’s awesome that you give your kids these experiences and memory’s. I could only dream of having parents that enjoyed skiing/riding, let alone taking ski vacations out west! Good for you, I’m sure your kids will remember these trips forever.

This. Unfortunately. I don't know what Snow was thinking by announcing their opening date for this Saturday. A quick look at the forecast shows less than ideal weather for the next 10 days, let alone this Saturday. Hell look at their base from 8am this morning.

I'm not going this weekend...MAYBE next weekend depending on the weather and trail count. More than likely ill go 11-9, three Saturdays from now .

Mount Snow opening up on Saturday....just in time for some rain showers. Their earliest opening in 64 years...
