  1. In my opinion, the snow was excellent for the majority of the day, at least until the legs gave out. As temps came up in late morning and the sun broke through the clouds, spring conditions arrived yet again. This allowed for a bunch of us to create another TBT, thigh burning bump line on the sunny side of Main Street. We also set a short line on the North side of Chute, just for the fun of it. By 1pm, lower Main Street was a ridiculous bump field and when the sun hit it, made for a wild ride of natural spring bumps. I was expecting to see Glen Plake come ripping through them at any moment, but it turns out he was up a MRG for the day. This has been one weird winter so far and never would have expected to be skiing spring bumps at the beginning of January, but when live throws you lemons... I thought there'd still be some Mango milkshake by the time I had to drop a layer, but I should have known better. Thanks @enjoralas again for the meat & shrimp samples, they were delicious as always! So ready for winter to return though!
  2. I've read all the new posts and watched all the videos and it's pouring rain outside. Guess I'll take down the Christmas tree, crack a beer, jerk off and take a nap.
  3. Nephew in the Marines just got transferred to Japan. I believe a visit is in order.
  4. They'll be open tomorrow, BMR needs the practice.
  5. The run was specifically built for BMR. Johnny Public only gets to use it when they say so.
  6. Especially with rain in the immediate forecast. Gotta make hay while the sun shines!
  7. Kudos to Bleu for their persistence. Come on polar vortex!
  8. What gets me is that people on detachables will try to put the bar up a few towers before the top where you're still some 20' above the ground. Really you could leave the bar down until you get into the station and still have time to put it up and get off. When i ride with strangers, I keep my skis on the bar until we're almost in the station just to torque the other people on the chair. If they say something to me, I just ask: "Would you want to fall from this height?"
  9. I hate all the stupid people making uninformed comments and assuming it was an on-slope incident. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. On a better note, the bumps want to be free!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Horrible! Saw him on the ground shortly after fall, right at the bottom of the first headwall. Was lying in the support tower footer hole. He was moving when I saw him. No excuse for not using the safety bar.
  12. Thought the snow was gonna set up overnight, but surprisingly it was pretty soft from the get-go. The groomers left the bumps that a couple of bumpers manually made yesterday, which provided ample entertainment today as well as some burning thighs. Lower Main Street was a total bump field, consistently littered with fallen bodies and various pieces of ski equipment. Thanks Enjorales for the meat & sausage samples! 13. And it was actually cold, since the canal is frozen over...
  14. Hello, Dewey, Cheetem and Howe, personal injury lawyers. How can we help you?
  15. Please don't remind me. At least the temps don't appear to be low enough for the snow to set up tonight and it looks like it's going to be sunny and warm tomorrow, so hopefully it'll be spring conditions. Bring your bikini! Yes The ski club that Slim Bob belongs to is running a trip to some hole in Wyoming the first week of March, so I'm going along with them.
  16. Forgot to post this yesterday. As seen in the parking lot on a crowded day at Blue... We all had a good chuckle! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Right! Hard to do that run multiple times a season. @antman12 do you take turns driving (one drives up, other drives home or one drives this time, other drives next)?
