  1. 68 actually a lot faster was on groomed slopes not ungroomed and error in either situation can lead to death.
  2. Nice report maybe you should stay out of the lodge. ZZSlope you gonna be at blue this weekend or any ski trips planned for this season? Still can't believe I've only seen you once this season at blue.
  3. Root there were two videos on YouTube links are posted in this thread on January 26th. South Park. I'll have to google it. Ok looked it up from the Eminem song Stan. Don't think I've heard that song in 15 years. The thought never crossed my head since I'm in Denver every year and first thing I think of is from dumb and dumber that John Denver is full of shit.
  4. Excellent news!!!! I read about this days ago.
  5. John Denver is full of shit. Our plane is headed from Chicago to Jackson hole now 12:20pm departure.
  6. Good: skiing Mach looney speeds with out friend Dennis the orher day who is a ski tester for Maidon skis on uncrowded groomers from 9-1030. Dennis 2500 dollar prototype skis were no match for the mantras. Was fun skiing fast Bad: Dennis bitching about only 9200 vert skied by 1015 cause we were mostly on Sublette and thunder which are fixed grip and can get ten runs an hour on Casper and Teton lifts but much shorter runs. Ugly...going Mach looney into gully after cirque and atomic Jeff getting accidental air rolling up the windows shit and Dennis says he might have footage from his chest mounted GoPro let's hope
  7. Good skiing with TP4 and his dad. I used to go on ski trips with my dad before he gave up skiing. Seeing him do a 2800 vert warm up run and actually getting some really smooth snow was cool I like that. Hope he enjoyed demoing skis. $5 an hour is a bargain for demos. Today and this trip was really good. I really enjoy skiing Jackson hole. I'll post more later. Going to the brewery soon the one 7.5% microbrew is calling my name.
  8. After mangy hungout in friend of a friends spot and then checked out Utah friends rig they took snowmobiles to granite hot springs yesterday and gonna ride tomorrow on their mountain collective passes. Got pretty faded and made friends with a couple nice ladies on the 3pm bus and now drinking jack and Coke and rocking out to T Pain..flying home tomorrow report from today and pictures and the good bad and the ugly.
  9. Great stuff!!! Marquee route looks one good storm away.
  10. Four runs so far waiting for TP4 and his dad. Eastern conditions. Laramie bowl was quiet. We already post videos the other day and ain't happening today as its snowing And blowing and a moonscape. Turn down for Jackson was two years ago. My Utah friends who gave me edibles still here I and not riding. Waiting for this storm maybe meet them for beers in their RV later.
  11. He's not allowed to when with his family. I will Sunday at blue.
  12. Last ski day on tap. Warm in town at around 30 degrees but windy. A skiff of new snow overnight. Some snow forecast today but unfortunately most will fall tonight and tomorrow.
  13. Right on was wondering what's open at 11pm on a Sunday. Well sounds like your schedule is good for weekday skiing.
  14. Yeah atomic Jeff hit 74 on razors and me 64 middle razors. Definitely not that much last drop
  15. Momskeez what do you do for a living??
  16. 58 seems unreal at JF since atomic Jeff didn't even hit that on radar gun day on Floyds 70 and even 80 out here is very doable
  17. TP4 where were you riding today and what did you like the best.
  18. 1/30/17..Jackson Hole day 6 of 7 Hey all, I'm back from another day skiing Jackson hole mountain resort. Had first civilian gondola to start the day again and was again cold at the base..around zero and warm up high..around 25...was almost like Groundhog Day as conditions were similar to yesterday. Sure powder would have been nice but skiing today was a lot better than work. First run down Amphitheater was like my favorite color..butter. Grand was grand and we ended up skiing grand three times. Rendevous trail was also decent except for the slow snowboarded hogging the traverse. We hit cirque twice and it was fast snow and in the shadows below. For the first time they groomed the skiers left side of Laramie bowl which you can only access the top from Sublette so that yielded some sweet steep and wide cord. Crowds today were pretty light..no liftlines..other areas of good snow were found next to the terrain park in the Casper area and right under the top of the Apres Vous chair which I've also never seen groomed before and it was smooth and chalky equivalent to a groomed run at blue after a snowstorm so pretty pretty good. By my counts did about 13-14 runs total then went to the mangy moose for lunch and had three double Jack and Cokes..didn't fall on the walkway outside the mangy so that's good. Took the 2:30 bus back to town and stopped at the liquor store for more Jack Daniels and snacks now gonna take a little nap before drinking more and supper tonight either brew brew brew brewery or the Thai place..both Toast approved. Didn't see TP4 today but hoping he makes it out first thing tomorrow or meets up with us later. Tomorrow it's supposed to snow somewhere around 1-8" could be spicy. In exchange for the perks I get flying with atomic Jeff..sometimes first class, free baggage($120 savings) and lounge access I typically take him out for an expensive dinner. Usually nanis pasta house but nanis is no more so last night went to trio and had a great dinner. Had a winter mule, ceaser salad, New York steak, ice cream, Jeff picked out a very nice wine and had Hennessey with my ice cream. Most of our suppers are pretty casual so enjoyed some fine dining and atomic Jeff enjoyed his arugula salad, risotto with waygu beef and pecan pie... We were actually two gondolas in front of our buddy Dennis and never saw him again. I hope he gets us footage from his GoPro of skiing Mach loony the other day. Was something you have to see to believe. Me and atomic Jeff were definitely a bit out of our comfort zone as atomic Jeff got a bunch of unexpected air off a roller and I used a herb touron as a GSS gate. JADIJH..sorry no pics today I'll take some tomorrow.
  19. The guy we skied with the other day but 81mph skiing the same speed as me and atomic Jeff and we didn't buy it. We figured around 70mph+ though.
