Wow just wow shadows way to get after it. I thought this morning was good. Was my fourth day out in a row and when I arrived this morning at 7:25am the temperature was around 13 degrees and at least 40 snowmaking cannons were blowing. In the house were JFDan, Johnny law, GSSucks, MBike Mike, slim, Matt edge, Justo, Rose, Enjorales, Enjoralas dad, Ty, Shadows and many others. Challenge had goofy grooming so everything else because the run of the day. Seriously everything was pretty good with fresh manmade on nightmare to Dreamweaver, Main Street and lazy mile and smooth surfaces throughout. I skied sidewinder, challenge, razors, nightmare to Dreamweaver, paradise, Main Street, switchback and the full lazy mile. The parking lot was fun with some beer and frisbee games and Enjorales chicken and sausage and JFDan brought sausage as well. It stayed in the low 20s and the sun gave way to clouds. Now time to checkout what's happening with this upcoming snowstorm. I'm hoping it delivers a couple feet of snow. JADIP

That's a good plan. I might sleep in the parking lot or at the Appalachian trail head. Anyway the roads will just be snow packed not like you are gonna be driving through 18" of untracked snow.

One of the models has 47" over Greene county NY where Hunter and Windham are located. For eastern PA looks like temperatures are gonna be in the 23 to 28 degree range and snow could fall for as long as 30 hours from late Monday night until early Wednesday morning.

Hey All, In back from another fun day at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 725am and it was in the mid teens under partly sunny sky's. As the morning progressed clouds increases and winds picked up keeping it cold. First run on razors was ok but a little solid but then found out that challenge was the run of the day and mainly skied that as the snowmakers blew pixie dust on it due to cold temperatures and low humidity and carbon county's best snowmaking. In the house were JFDan, NMSki, Toast, Justo, Johnny Law, Enjorales and dad, MBike Mike, Tarponhead, Mrs Snowbunski, MBikes daughter, Nastar Glenn, Ryan, Marty, Indiggio and many more. Besides challenge Switchback was smooth and seemed like some new manmade or yesterday's new snow blended in well. Nightmare to Dreamweaver had nice chalky snow and a few slick spot. Upper Main Street was good lower was a little herky jerky and I skied the full mile as well which was pretty nice. A week ago people were mourning the ski season, now people are optimistic it could go pretty long. The polar vortex is locked in place and a humdinger of a snowstorm is on the horizon. Looks like similar peak mid winter conditions tomorrow morning as well. After skiing had some beer and MBike grilled up some mad steezy beef and cheese sangs which hit the spot..temperature rose into the low 20s by noon. Ski everybody later!!! Everybody remember set your clocks forward an hour tomorrow.

Drive up was spicier today than yesterday.
