Blue is opening with 40 acres of terrain spread across 13 trails including skytop…no mule. Looks like additional terrain will open this weekend and somebody was asking about switchback and Nastar Glenn said it was skiing real nice.

Hey All, It’s almost the start of another ski season. Blue blew snow Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Tonight is marginal snowmaking conditions but the following couple nights look decent along with a snowstorm with a predicted 1-14” of snow expected. It will be a nowcasting event. Opening day December 5th looks chilly..anybody gonna be at Blue the true for opening day or weekend? I’m planning on it likely be a 9am opening they had 8am opening last season to beat Jack Frost. Saturday I plan on skiing as well, I have a Xmas party Saturday night might not ski Sunday. A few weeks ago things looked grim but Blues aggressive snowmaking and a little help from Mother Nature looks to make for a solid start to the local ski season. high five for stoke pass it down
