I don’t think you’ve ever missed Supper on a JH trip. I could eat that cheap Mexican every night and I’d be a happy man..350 pounds but happy.

Do you ski with a backpack or pocket meat? I’ve done that before with cheese and crackers in a bag in my pocket. Eat snow if thirsty. Just watch out where the huskies go and don’t you eat that yellow snow.

Back before iPhone days, when I solo dined, I’d read auto trader magazine and real estate magazines or sit at the bar and so weird wild stuff to the barmaids.

Well my roommate was just like him. He grew up on a couple hundred acre ranch in Conrad Montana and his closest neighbors were his grandparents. He would get like parts of cows from his parents and after the bars whip up burgers on white bread.

I was thinking that as I was pacing back and forth in the hotel house stoned out of my mind…honestly it’s not a bad idea.

They should have a shuttle bus that goes between camelback and blue. Id ride that just ti checkout comebacks apres ski scene

No worries but you usually don’t even mention that Hyundai Kona sticks out in my mind from Utah trip. @saltyant did you purchase your blue pass…next season I wanna bring more snacks to the lot…you should bring snacks as well…I’m thinking a case of captains wafers and pops and Enjo like cashews, they’re pricey but YOLO lol

Imagine if they had a refrigerated storage unit to save the snow for next season. That would be rad.

He hopes it’s Vail so he can go on his epic pass and probably also for much needed lift and infrastructure upgrades. It’s pretty sad that Blue is 70 miles south and 1,000 feet lower and has a longer season. I feel like Elk is far enough from the masses that it won’t get that crowded although I remember when @NMSKI went last year there were long weekend liftlines

Nice reports so far… @Dirtwolf the first time I heard a Grateful Dead song was at sugarbush at the base of Heavens gate when I was in 11th grade in 1996, it was Touch of Gray and I heard a lot more Grateful Dead in college. Y’all got to ride the heavens gate triple for its final weekend after a 30+ year run. I also always had the fraggle rock theme song in my head when I rode castle rock..that’s where warren miller superstars Dan and John Egan got their start…
