  1. Early bird used to be before 11/15 then they made it in the spring time. $600 sounds about what they should charge. They’d generate more revenue that way although they did do away with the midweek pass and discounts for kids or multiple family members. They went with the KISS strategy,”keep it simple stupid”
  2. Do the locals still call the place crusty butt?
  3. What date last year did Blue passes go on sale? I definitely don’t remember before Presidents’ Day. Might need to go into the archives.
  4. I think it will be $499 or less for the early bird. I’d rather they charge a little more..I think they are leaving money on the table.
  5. I have my own group on Facebook and my own mod squad. I’m good.
  6. I just mean the name since salty is a Sally.
  7. She posts on Facebook sometimes. She’s an EMS worker now and does some online tutoring.
  8. Reminds me of @SallyCat
  9. I think it depends on the resort.
  10. Coming soon looks rad.
  11. Like 7.5 is possible in an hour if you stick to the front face.
  12. It’s way too early to start thinking about next season.
  13. Salty there you go putting words in other people’s mouths. Unreal @Ride Delaware ? And @ridge
  14. Hey All, I’m back from a fun morning session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot before 820am after a drive where the roads were completely empty. It was in the upper 20s under overcast sky’s. In the house were Atomic Jeff, Toast, BenM, Bethlehem Ford Guy and Charles. First civilian six pack and down the carpet also known as challenge. Woo it was good..not too hard not too soft..just right..yeah mad Goldilocks. I skied that a few more times then hit up razors which had similar conditions. After about three runs it started to sleet, then snow and more sleet. A benefit to masks is that the sleet doesn’t burn when skiing 50mph. I also skied a run on Switchback which was very nice and lower widowmaker to midway also very nice with a skiff of freshies. Was nice having basically ski on chairlifts and experiencing a little bit of winter weather with nice visibility. I skied a total of 8 runs in an hour and ten minutes..no parking lot beers today. Back to work like a dork. JADIP
  15. It would give you incentive to ski other resorts.
  16. You never know the blue mountain goes pretty high up into the clouds so could benefit from some orographic lift.
  17. Wolf creek is doing well. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.outtherecolorado.com/news/colorado-resort-passes-200-of-snow-after-two-foot-dump-over-weekend/article_32ebdb06-5f31-11eb-9911-83c01057b557.amp.html
  18. That would also be radical.
  19. No lines on the webcam which is rare for this season
  20. Schif didn’t you ski at eagle rock when it was a huge pow day?
  21. I read an article from 2005 about the seven summits club at Snowbird and back then it was $7500 annually. Would be worth it for the 745am starts, line cutting privileges at the tram and complimentary coffee, cold drinks and snacks. Plus the guaranteed close in likely garage parking is a plus.
  22. This is an interesting op-ed https://www.nytimes.com/2021/01/21/opinion/covid-vaccine-ethics.html?smtyp=cur&smid=fb-nytimes&fbclid=IwAR3PGcmsYFue6JrnjtuHhn0HdINwx8q2YHfKdHOGVt0w7L6WcqBndWTxTNY
  23. How has camelback been? Crowded? I saw that season passholders dawn do first tracks starting at 730am which is rad
  24. Grate report..Wally is getting big.
  25. Good for them. They had a lot of very bad years in the last decade.
