  1. You should check airbnb.com great if you looking for rentals and has homes literally anywhere, yes even scranton.
  2. Hopefully, this won't be a shitty thing for Pow Mow. Meaning, I hope we don't see too many changes.... It seems like they kind of want to keep it somewhat the way it is? We will see...
  3. Usually, at the tavern. I have night class on wednesdays now till 10, so I will have to pass through Stooges again need to change up the scenery anyway. Yea, my wingman Jesus is living the dream or JEWPOO or whatever you kids are calling it these days.
  4. My plans include hitting Blue at least 3-4 times a week, annual Utah trip, hopefully a long weekend trip to Stowe and Jay Peak, hang out at Stooges Karaoke more often, and maybe get in on some this parking lot action I hear about and meet some more PASRs. Oh, and post more.
  5. Just my .02 but, I hear great things about Venture... my friends who tour out in SLC all ride Venture. I agree with Dan, getting a decent splitboard setup isn't going to be "cheap" you might as well make sure you are getting a quality board that is going to last and best suit your needs.
  6. Right on makes me wonder if krs was just saying that to be a tool and put off any takers so I would go with his offer.....
  7. Not trying to fuck with your good time just a reminder to stay safe. Drink on Shit man glad to hear you are alright!

  10. Was unaware of this..... How do you know this is what they are doing? I have no intention of ripping anyone off man.... I dont see how they can deny you a lift ticket with the card, what if it was purchased as a gift??

  15. seeing calls for 4-6" up around Jack Frost.. I think Blue is in the grey area between 1-3 and 2-4" was also thinking I would use the WNEP card and hit JF looks like a better bet for the weekend.
  16. Some stoke, a friend of mine has a photo that made the final cut for Smith Optics Backcountry Photo contest. If you could click the link and like it that would be awesome. Photo is from Solitude Fantasy Ridge last May.
  17. I picked up a pair of Oakley Hi-Intensity Yellow at the beginning of the season, they are amazing in low/flat light conditions..
  18. God damn that sucks man. Wish you relief and a speedy recovery....
  19. Nice! I think I will stop up tomorrow morning to ride lazy.
  20. I was also at Hunter yesterday. I have a friend who just bought a house in Monroe Ny, so I figured we would pair the visit with a trip up to Hunter. Left his place at 7:00 AM, pulled into the parking lot just past 8am. Bought our $28 lift tix, and headed over the the line at the six pack around 8:45, I would say at that point we were about the 15th chair heading up, and it wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be. Drank a Left hand Sawtooth ale on the way up to celebrate day 1 one of the season. At the summit conditions gave the appearance of looking pretty nice, however one you got to the top of hellgate that all changed very quickly... There wasn't a place on the trail that wasn't covered in baseball sized death cookies, and the "ungroomed" snow on the side of the trail was actually a solid plate of sheer ice. As guitar explained above, they were only open down to F lift. My buddy and I took 6 laps, and by that point the conditions were just getting dangerous, the slopes more crowded, and they had fired the snow guns back up around 10:30am at the summit and some mid mountain. My friend said he wanted to take a beer break down at the car so we got in the very long line to download the B lift. As we were riding down we noticed some just decided to ski and ride down on thin cover, we were bummed we waited in line instead of doing the same. Overheard Hunter employees joking around about the how the line to get down was way longer than the lift line to go up, and once in the parking lot we cracked some beers when another employee joked that was the best thing to be doing with the snow conditions on the mountain. We decided it wasn't worth the time to upload for a few more runs which assumed had only degraded more. A car of NYers pulled in and we sold our lift tix to them in the parking lot 2 for 20$ before we rolled out at about 11:30am. Was great to get out on the snow, I am not knocking on Hunter too bad because its opening day but those conditions were just really rough. EDIT: LOL at that AZ report. Good conditions? haha! As I said I am aware it was the first day and conditions wouldn't be that good, but I wouldn't even come close to calling them good! Good thing I downloaded before the lift broke down, can't even imagine how long the download line was after that.
  21. I don't know any of you and I probably don't get all of these inside jokes, but I am thoroughly entertained this morning reading this! I hope you killed both those 30 packs....
