Dave- There is an Applebees or a Fridays along 33 about 5 or 6 mi. north of 78, can't remember which... There's a wawa in easton if you're looking for a quick bite, but otherwise I'd stick out the ride until I got back near home and I'd hit up the Clinton Station Diner. They've got surprisingly good food for a 24 hour eating establishment. No smoke since its Jersey, and its generally pretty quiet around 10:30 or 11. I like stopping in there for a quick appetizer or something a lot.

Hold on here... hold on... wait a second... The bumps at Blue are nice? They're on half a trail that shouldn't even be a black to start with. And no, they're not symetrical.... There were some sick lines to be found on both Rocket and Asp. A hell of a lot more then you can find on that half of main street that they named after a singing purple dinosaur. You and Doug are so completely biased its ridiculous. No one, and I mean NO ONE in their right mind would take the right side of the upper half of a weak diamond over a fully bumped rocket or asp. I'd actually be interested to see what bump runs you actually consider to be good?

CB will have night skiing starting the second weekend they're open. Oh well... Zal, you know 1 hour of skiing is better than an hour of most things...

The first major event is: I will be skiing there New Years Eve during the day... who wants to come up and make some turns? (Ok, so thats not THAT major) Second is: Jan 14th- Midnight Madness is happening with the band Dropping Daylight. This band is KILLER- they play pop/punk/rock in a really cool mixture that is definitely worth hearing. If you want a taste they're the band playin on my MySpace page- Metz's Myspace Anyways, anyone coming out for that? I'll definitely be there!

Last year we got a nice dumping the day before opening day at CB... I realize it won't be as nice as last year... But hey... I'll take Marjie's over midway to main st. any day. And I really, REALLY hate having a black that is half bumps and half groomed... When you've got that half groomed the n00bs attempt the bumps... and it gets ugly.... I say bump up asp again!

Nah, CB will open this weekend. I have no worries about that. Last season's opening day was fantastic, so hopefully we see it again this year... and werd... I want another green with bumps this year

This sucks. I woke up this morning at 5:30 and my head felt like a pressure cooker. Fever at 100.4. Not fun at all. I didn't go out last night like I planned, ditched everyone to go skiing in the am... and now I'm stuck in bed, having to go to work in a half hour. Well, someone let me know how it was. I was actually looking forward to doing some skiing with Dude and whoever else was there. I should have gone sick... damn. I'll just have to meet up with everyone hopefully next weekend. Well, let me know how it was.

I sincerely do hope that they open friday. If they don't (I hate to talk like this) I'm going to have to say that they will probably lose half their season pass holders next year. Anyways, they should be open, I WILL be there, and it WILL be a good time. I'm wondering what all they're going to have open for us... they SHOULD be able to have a SIGNIFICANT amount of the mountain open... since they're taking an extra week. The web page shows a lot of snowmaking going on... could be schweet...
