I arrived around 2:30, went into the lodge, got my pass, and then got booted up. I got in line around 2:55pm, and there was maybe 20 people in front of me. There was a steady flow of people walking up to the lift after each run I took. I got a quick 6 or 7 laps in, and the line was starting to grow, so I skied back to my car, and left. Just had to get my fix for the week For those of you who don't think I ski Atomic's anymore...and some new boot porn A lot less crowded then last year The line around 3:45pm Tried to grab a shot of Big Boulder park, but too many trees. Freedom wasn't as wide as it usually is, but wide enough for me to avoid all the 'honks. They really spread it out thin to open up, but it was good enough. Surface conditions? Cocaine white powder. Out of all the trails at JFBB, I get the most speed on Big Boulder Park/Trail when there are no jumps on it. That's an awesome trail for early season skiing.
