sibhusky Posted January 9 Author Report Posted January 9 Day 17. Whitefish is living up to its reputation this season. / 3
sibhusky Posted January 12 Author Report Posted January 12 Day 19. Very flat light, but at least no fog. 2
momskeeztoo Posted January 12 Report Posted January 12 Looks empty for a Sunday. Apparently, Blue was crazy crowded all weekend.
sibhusky Posted January 13 Author Report Posted January 13 Day 20. Sometimes you just have to laugh. 3
momskeeztoo Posted January 14 Report Posted January 14 😳. I guess we were lucky when I was there. Only one horribly foggy day. They had to shut the top of the mountain down. It’s a shame, it’s such a beautiful mountain.
sibhusky Posted January 14 Author Report Posted January 14 Really, I don't think I've ever heard of it closing due to fog. Cold, yes, wind, yes, broken lifts yes, but never fog. When was that?
sibhusky Posted January 14 Author Report Posted January 14 Day 21. Spent most of my time in the fog, but it made diving under the layer later much sweeter. 4

sibhusky Posted January 17 Author Report Posted January 17 I think you were there the first season of The Gambler (chair 4). There were a ton of issues with it.
sibhusky Posted January 17 Author Report Posted January 17 Day 23. A good day for extra clothes. The wind gave all the loose snow a free ride off the mountain. 3
sibhusky Posted January 19 Author Report Posted January 19 Day 24. Skiing with a buddy from Florida. Her first day of the season and it was 2°F. 7
sibhusky Posted January 20 Author Report Posted January 20 Day 25.-1°F. 3 layers of merino, 2 down jackets, 2 pair of ski pants, boot gloves, neoprene face mask and balaclava, heat packs in the mitts. Kept moving. 3

momskeeztoo Posted January 21 Report Posted January 21 When it’s cold here I boot up inside. Why have cold feet before you have to? 1
mbike-ski Posted January 21 Report Posted January 21 no boot heaters?! I just installed a new set of Hotronics in MrsSnoBunski's boots

I just installed a new set of Hotronics in MrsSnoBunski's boots Generally don't need them. $35 boot gloves whose battery won't die / get lost are enough 95% of the time. Also, if my boots aren't on my feet, they are on heaters even if I skip a day. So they are heated through and warm when I put them on. Edited January 21 by sibhusky 1
momskeeztoo Posted January 22 Report Posted January 22 I like putting my boots on the floor of the front seat. They are nice and toasty when I put them on. 2
