toast21602 Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 i'll be in florida this weekend..... same here for a dumb wedding.
Ride Delaware ? Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 I'd rather go to a wedding in Florida than ski Camelback.. I haven't taken a warm weather vacation in 10 years... I'd rather get some April PA turns in, even if it is CB...
guitar73 Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 the kicker is that the wedding is at a really nice golf club (innisbrook golf club outside of tampa) and i won't have my clubs with me....doh! oh well, i'll still be thinking of spring skiing when we're down there.
AtomicSkier Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Rent clubs? I take my clubs on vacation even if there is a slightly chance I may play golf.
RootDKJ Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 (edited) I skied at da 'toe yesterday. Not bad. The short runs suck. Some serious boilerplate on some areas and The Asp had some pretty dangerous grooming. Kept a pretty good pace... 4 beers an hour. Edit: They have enough snow to last until Saturday. Kyle Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Rent clubs? I take my clubs on vacation even if there is a slightly chance I may play golf. Same. I can't play with any other clubs but my own. It feels too weird. 1
Ride Delaware ? Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Edit: They have enough snow to last until Saturday. Select terrain I am guessing?
RootDKJ Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Select terrain I am guessing? A couple trails have closed already. Don't know which. I also couldn't figure out my way to the 'other' lift either. The one trail I know to go down was roped off but looked like it had plenty of snow on it. Could have just been the beer too. It's my mission for tomorrow.
