Ski Rentals

Buy them! Don't be scared to commit.

Thank you. I will surely buy them but not till the time I get some grip over it. For the time being, I am happy with the rentals. May I ask you what difference it makes if I buy them? I may reconsider my decision if you could help me with good reason to go for buying.

Romeo.... Are you new to skiing?

Have you been before, couple times, few times a year.

These are important questions, don't buy anything until you know what you want, need as it will change pretty quickly the more you progress.

This is exactly what it has been on my mind. Thank you for the suggestion. I am very new to skiing. My skills are as good as zero. I am doing my homework here by taking suggestion from you guys before I go for a big leap.  I appreciate the way you guys help me.

Thank you, Johnny. Thank you for the offer. Could you please tell me more regarding them?

My suggestion would be to look for a beginner package at one of the ski resorts which will include your equipment rental for the day as well as a lesson to get you started. I know that if you went to Jfbb you'd be looking for the discovery package, I'm not sure what it's called at the other areas offhand. Most of all dress for the weather and have fun.

Sounds like a plan, Philly.

If you are looking for a beginner package with lift, lesson and rental, you can get them for $49 for lots of PA ski areas here:

That's a sweet link, thanks. I might actually do that too as I've been wanting to switch over to skiing for a while now
