sibhusky Posted September 12, 2005 Author Report Posted September 12, 2005 Sib, what are the temps like now around where you live? 32810 They've been in the 30's at night at the house. Up on the mountain, I would knock off 8 to 10 degrees.
VTmark Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 how low do you get in mid winter then. -20 or something?
sibhusky Posted September 12, 2005 Author Report Posted September 12, 2005 Yikes, there is a new pic today:
sibhusky Posted September 12, 2005 Author Report Posted September 12, 2005 how low do you get in mid winter then. -20 or something? 32843 For less than two weeks the last two Januaries, we've had negative teens and twenties as highs for the day. I've skied them. The only really bad part is the main chairlift gets slammed with wind as it crosses over the bowl. Once you are down in the trees, it's not that bad, and the snow stays great. You can take a slower chair that doesn't get slammed with the wind, but then you sit still longer. I am not sure which is worse.
