sideways? Its all the same to me...something that distroys your bases

I just want to try a box some time...cause they look really easy (to just go up on them straight or umm sideways)...so I want to try it to see how hard it actully is.

Maybe i'll throw on a pair of like beginner skis, and try to do a box or something...maybe a wallride

Park City (UT) has a few staircases in one of there parks, open to anyone... Then again out there much fewer n00bs try stuff they can't handle...

When you buy online, you have to be more careful. If you do simple things like ask for original pictures, buy only from users who have many transactions AND high possitive feedback, paypall verified, and have a good return policy the chances of getting burned are pretty low. If you just go and say hmm atomic gs 11s, with a picture off the atomic website (insted of the actual ski) don't buy it. Remember most sellers that sell more than one thing a year, are more than happy to take a few extra pictuers, or answer a few quetsions for you. I would say that pictures is the best way to go, because everyonce in a while people make mistakes. Anyway it 1/2 sounds like your mad at atomic for selling to online resellers insted of to a shop....Atomic just wants to make some money.... I swear, if I came accross a pair of not "specail production" atomics, I might faint....

I'll I can tell is you said atomic is trying to sell all there extra skis on ebay...(threw online retailers)...Not sure I see the problem with that. I mean atomic probably thought there skis were more popular than they actully were.... I'm working on getting a car to drive up an hr and a half, to run around, realize how out of shape I am, drive an hr and a half back home, and call myself happy.

Greg, try out the Volkl 6 stars, atomic SX 11s (ski999 why you trying to get him in the wimpy sx9s? Hes a full grown UPS man ) Also you might want to look into the Elan all mountain ski. Those are probably the 3 best for all mountain ripping around here.

I broke a ski, but that was in a pretty hard fall...And I don't think a shop would have replaced it anyway. They would have said something like "their not made to be fallen on, lower your din next time" Anyway, I am still all about Ebay.

I know JF is under new management this year (so I assume BB is too). At a meeting they had with all there staff members, they said they wanted to open Dec 1st every year. They also said they weren't sure it would happen this year, since at that meeting, all the papers were just signed, and they wanted to interview ALL the staff...and all that good stuff. So I'm saying no JF/BB before Dec

Come to think of it, I did hop on some Volkl 6 stars For a few runs. Not a bad Free ski. It would be up there if I had money to blow on an extra pair of all mountain skis. Took a run or 2 of Nastar in them, and they weren't bad.

I tried a pair out at hood this summer (GS race skis)...I think... Don't really remember them, so nothing too specail in that ski for me.

Ebay is a pretty good place to get skis, if you know what you want. The main problem with ebay, is if you have problems, its more complicated than with a store. I know a lot of people who don't seem to like dynistars that much, but most people on K2 like them. If you don't have time to go out and demo (which would be the ideal thing to do) then you could try the K2 ones. Any all mountain expert ski would be good for you probably.

Just what one coach has said...I think he ment in the like car up to the mountain, cause then you get pumped up, and end up not racing for a few hours...But then again, who knows with some coaches

According to one coach, rock music is bad to listen to before a race. According to another, whatever works for you. According to another, you want loud rock music. According to another...well you get the point I don't listen to anything when I ski, cause if I did I would have it way too loud for me to hear anything around me, and that a stupid way to ski.
