I don't really see what 100% open first would tell you...If you compaired sq. acres to average base depth or something, you could probably find out something or other about who blew more snow...But finding the average base depth would be very hard.... What I'm trying to say is if CB put 3 inches of snow on each trail, and blue put 2 foot, then CB would be open in a week.... ughh im going to bed

It would be easier for them not to even bother with that side, but they want a begginnner trail, that doesn't go from the top, meadows, open...You could argue that they could wait til Febuary to cover the base area, but it just doesn't work out too well if CB wants to have terain open for noobs and not noobs

I have talked to a few insturctors, and the head race coach. They are opening the 9th, (incase you guys didn't pick up on that yet). They have also said that night skiing with start the Thus after they open. Hope this helps everyone out.

'Mum was at Hunter to day on her way up to K-mart (killington). Anyway, she said there are some very thin spots, some places that are very skinny (6 feet wide), patches of hay, patches of dirt, and random rocks sticking up. Just a heads up to anyone going tomorrow, she says bring the rock skis (if you have them). They were blowing snow all day, but it sounds like it might be a little sketchy tomorrow Just a heads up!

About a 50% chance I'll be around... Rob, I have bad news for you...If CB was gonna open anything tomorrow for anyone, they would be out grooming tonight, and making more snow ontop of that, then grooming that all flat....(they groom the piles out and then blow a little more on top most times) so If you don't see any groomers going around, you are outta luck for tomorrow. Also I stand corrected on saying instructors are on snow tomorrow. They are on snow next saturday

Hope you have fun at dryland tomorrow...Hope they don't make you do it in that parking lot I didn't think the H2 woudl do dougnuts...lol Its good that they have lots of snow, hopefully they have lots of good stuff open when they open.

My guess is the 9 trails there making snow on now, and then upper cleo, rocket and some other trail..

Don't forget CB has a massive base area to open. If they want to open the park opening day, then you need to have snow from the park, all the way to the quad, which probably takes a while to make....Could they have opened with meadows and the meadows lift, or majies...Probably, just one, not both.

I could have swore I posted that they were opeing on the 9th...I was told a few weeks ago, by a few intructors there, that that is when they are opening..Anyway, I'll be there in 2 weekends!

I don't really see this as being to surpising for new or old management...I mean if Barry wants to "play" he wants to play on more than 2 trails probably. Just seems like they always have and always will try and get a bunch of trails open for opening day. Anyway, who knows...I'll get up there in 2 weeks...

And when I heard darron and bode came in 1-2 at BC I thought it was a DH at bear creek...Maybe next year...

Zonked said she was going to pick me up around 730 (unless she is like, and 'she is always late')...Sounds be up there and on the snow by 9....if all goes as planned....
