For snowmaking the idea conditions are low humidity, and low temps. If the temp is 35 degress, and the humidity is 0% you could probably make snow (it would be crappy snow, but still snow) If the temp was 29 degrees but the humidity was 98% you might not be able to make snow that well.

We were in and out of traffic...Actully I fell asleep (mum was driving) when we were in traffic, woke up a little while later, we were out, and then fell back asleep til we got to 84 (drove down past CB to avoid the NJ turnpike...)

I got a pair of surefoot foot beds in my boots. I got them last spring in Park City. They hurt like a mother for the first few days (your feet are not used to having support on them, if you normally ski without footbeds). Surefoot uses a computer to scan your foot, where other compainies use a mold, its probably all about the same end product. I won a gift cert. for a free pair of footbeds at any Surefoot shop..Lemme know if your interested.

Don't even get me started on how many things in the 'skiers responsiblity code' that most of the rangers know by heart the n00bs break, with out getting corrected/talked to about.

That someone might be me Mum is going up to Kmart for the week (ASRA Camp)...So I don't think she will mind too much. Hopefully they open this weekend tho....

At one point they let us go up to set/ski rocket at 730...but that didn't happen much last year. Somedays were rebels and take the gates down at 930, so were off the trail by 942ish...but that always makes patrol mad

I agree with lurk....That is enough snow, it gets spread out real well, but they will still want to blow another 6ish inches on top of it. If there not opening this weekend (which they said there not) then they might as well wait til the 16th...Cause I will be up at Killington/okemo on the 10/11th

What are you milking?

Usually we get domidary (trail of big poc) when the snowboarders have there race on raceway. Last year was the first time I remember running brushes on Lower cleo, and that only happened because it was the only trail with enough snow, and not many people on it xmas week to set anything. I don't know if we were even 'allowed' to set them there....But it was hardly noticed by ski patrolers, as we were running brushes on a side trail, with snowguns blowing on it...

Daily picture on the CB site... I think I know the guy your talking about. I met him a little this summer. He never gave me a hard time, so I don't really have anything with him, but then again, I didn't talk to him that much either.

Would you believe, that even when we had rocket closed off (with fencing at the top, and closed signs) a ranger still came on the trail, and sat in the middle of the course. He then later said that we were out of control, and had to slow down. Also we get about 1.5 hrs on it (8, down by 930) once a week...Which is deffinatly better than nothing, but its not that much time. But we open it up on just about all the trails, so whatever

I would ski in the rain, on one trail, in Novemeber...Beats skiing in the rain, on one trail in Febuary But I have 'school'. I think Ski999 is just bummed cause his little 5 year old is now crying since she can't go to greek peak...or uhh somethign like that Anyway, you should make Ski Free day an all season thing for PASR members
