  1. Turns out I'm not the only potential asshole! From Teton Gravity forums: "I kind of have no idea what this means. I guess that every Sunday at 12.01AM, I will go on-line to book reservations for MTWTHandF. Then, what happens if I decide to ski Alta or DV on W, but I have a reservation at PCMR. Me thinks that a lot of reservations will be made with no shows."
  2. I generally don't but sometimes do... like if in the future we need to reserve a block of time a week in advance, then the forecast changes to rain... yep, not skiing 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️
  3. You've never cancelled a reservation? I've cancelled many hotel reservations without being an asshole... Things come up - weather sucks, people get sick, plans change, etc. If Jack Frost doesn't implement a penalty for cancelling a reservation, I wouldnt be surprised if people abuse it, especially those who have been passholders for years or decades.
  4. Hope they dont get any idea from Jackson Frost! I made a deal with Blue when I bought my pass in March. Only Darth Vader can alter the deal. I personally think 8 am to 10 am should be for passholders only, then after 10 am everyone else.
  5. I don't plan out everything I do in advance. I might wake up on a Saturday morning and not feel like skiing. Or I might feel like skiing. So if I have to start making reservations as a pass holder, I might think twice about being a pass holder next year. Though yes, I know resorts could care less if I ski or not, I'm just one person.
  6. Might not if Blue does it. That's stupid. I'll pick up cross country skiing instead.
  7. I shouldn't have to reserve a time slot as a season pass holder. They can think of other ways to manage crowds.
  8. I'd just reserve every timeslot I might possibly ski in the upcoming 2 or 3 weeks.
  9. So if a passholder makes a last minute decision to ski, but no reservation slots are available, are they SOL?
  10. Can Blue get you in trouble for trespassing? I was thinking of hiking the trails at Camelback but didnt feel like asking them.
  11. The Farmers Almanac is always 100% accurate.
  12. Thanks, now I have a reason not to go besides being too lazy to drive that far! I actually still have my 2 reservations for RMNP but can cancel them prior to 24 hours. I will return to CO in the future, but preferably on a plane.
  13. Really, even in Rocky Mountain National Park? That's terrible.
  14. How would they limit passholders, especially at the top with no scanners? Would there be a lottery? Base it on seniority? How would passholders know not to waste their time driving there and getting excited for skiing, only to be denied entry?
  15. How will I breathe then? What if I suffocate?
  16. I'll just wear the ski mask that I always wear anyway. Whatever.
  17. I thought they offered 4 hour tickets in the past, like when I night skied?
  18. Funk paying for parking. Funk that sheet.
  19. That would be great! It's a casual ride and not competitive, but sometimes @AtomicSkier likes to ride ahead and show off.
  20. Come up to Delps Park for a ride with us one evening
  21. I was joking. @toast21602 said asked if anyone wants to buy his pass but we all know he'll be there. If they make us jump through too many hoops to ski or impose restrictions (e.g. a circus), I might take up cross country skiing instead to get away from it all.
  22. I think I'll just ask for a $429 gift card this season.
  23. Technically it's south of Lofty. Between Lofty and Hazleton, there are the towns of Haddock, Silverbrook, McAdoo Heights, McAdoo, Kelayres, Audenreid, Beaver Brook, and Hazle Village. Then finally you're in Hazleton.
  24. It was supposed to be a funny parody of this site. Some people thought it was terrible and/or got butthurt and took it too seriously so I deleted it, then I got banned for 3 days.
  25. Well unban VTMark then so he can bestow his advice on this forum.
